Very good book. Brody has spent years dealing with the guilt of his brother Will's disappearance. He started the Bucking Bronc Lodge as a way to help other boys in a way he hasn't been able to do for Will. He has also never given up the hope of finding him. When he gets a call from Julie telling him that they finally have a promising lead he can't wait to jump in. He has also felt guilty for the way he treated her after the kidnapping, but doesn't want to take the risk of falling for her again. ...more

Ok. More trying to find bad guy than romance, which was good.

After the kidnapping, he pushed her away, blaming her for what had happened. Now Julie is back and as a seasoned FBI agent she is hot on the trail of a lead on his brother. With some reluctance, they team together to follow the bread crumbs in hopes of bringing to justice a serial kidnap ...more

This story was mild. Not the angst and heart aching macho cowboy stories I am always looking for to read.

However, the story is about a lost boy, kidnapped and abused; hence, his family has been also lost in despair and blame, until of course the story unfolds in a happy ending.

Good but not my kind of story.

USA Today Bestselling and award-winning author Rita Herron fell in love with books at the ripe age of eight when she read her first Trixie Belden mystery. Ten years ago, she traded her classroom storytelling a ...more
