The illustrations are great and I loved learning more about Jules Verne. The little cartoon of the interviewer was a fun addition to tie the story togetherr.

Found this in a pile of free books at a swap shop. Both my kids enjoyed it. Will save this one for a biography book report. Just the right amount of fact and useful chronology to give young readers real insight into this wonderful author. And anecdotal enough to engage them fully.

My son and I liked how thoroughly researched this biography was. I especially liked hearing how the books he wrote related to where he was in his life. We will definitely be reading more biographies by Robert Quackenbush.
