A counting board book about traffic . Simple, colorful pictures of vehicles. Probably good for chewing, but I didn't try since it's a library book. Nothing goes beep. I was very disappointed by that.

Book format- board book
Reading level- 1-4 years
Genre- Fiction
Lit Requirement- Number book

This book counts from 1 to 10 using different modes of transportation. This includes a bus, firetrucks, vans, taxis, bicycles, and more. The book ends to combine all of the vehicles to form "1 big traffic jam!"The illustrations are very colorful and detailed which would hold the attention of the reader. I think this book would be great for children not only lear

Using board books on basic skills is always fun. Brian Briggs Everything Goes has books with a transportation theme that is very fun and these two new board books are right there. Everything Goes: 123 Beep Beep Beep!: A Counting Book counts 1-10 with various vehicles. Each page provides plenty of discussion and conversation. Everything Goes: Stop! Go!: A Book of Opposites provides the next step in everything from up/down, stop/go and beyond. As always these illustrations are bright, vibrant and ...more

A simple counting board book where children can count different types of vehicles. I like the style of Biggs's illustrations. The vehicles all seem as though they've been squished, so that they are shortened in length, but taller than usual--and there's a roundness to everything. His vivid colors and inclusion of a diverse crowd of people are sure to appeal to toddlers.

A cute counting book for kids. If you have a boy or child who likes cars this might be a good book for you.

Ten types of transportation are depicted in this colorful board book. Beyond the basics of car and truck are included through taxis and food trucks.

A board book that covers counting from 1 to 10 using all types of vehicles (fire trucks, vans, taxis etc). Brightly colored with detailed illustrations, this is a fun book to share with toddlers.

FROM Weird Business, 1995:

Often compared to Charles Addams and Edward Gorey, Brian Biggs first unleashed his bizarre storytelling skills on an unsuspecting world with the love story Frderick & Eloise (Fantagraphics). Since then Brian's work has appeared in a variety of magazines. He is currently in negotiations for his new graphic novel Dear Julia.
