AVENGER’S HEAT breathed new life into Katie Reus’ MOON SHIFTER series and was, in my opinion, the best installment so far! Erin Flynn’s story was a long time coming which made the reward feel all the more sweeter when it finally showed-up in my mailbox. I loved learning more about this beloved character, and the change in local and main story arc, were welcome developments. This book also delivers powerful sexual tension and a plot line that’ll keep you enthralled until t

My thoughts:

Erin was a strong, kick-butt heroine. Noah's strength was that he understood her, and knew that he had to allow her to be herself. Even though Noah was a strong warrior himself.

I loved Noah. He was patient with Erin and loved her without reservations.

The plot was fast-paced and turned out to be very personal for Erin. I have to confess, though, that my favorite part of the book was not the resolution of their mission. It was the resolution of the love story. Kudos to Katie Reus for t

Avenger's Heat is for sure the best book in this series so far. The action kicks off form the very first pages of the book and it stays like that till the very end.
The past of Erin is just so heartbreaking and her with Noah make just perfect couple. Although i do have to admit that i liked Brianna and Angelo a lot more, while reading i was just waiting for more moments of them.
I can't wait to pick up the next book of the series and i hope we get to see some more of Brianna and Angelo couple.
This was exactly what I wanted! loved it

Oh my, how have I missed the Moon Shifter series? Because honestly, this book is one of the best shifter novels I have had the pleasure of reading! I love novels were the shifters are really bad a**. This book didn't disappoint.

I was hooked from page one and I have been tracking down the other books in the series. I loved the story line in this book! The story line was just as sinister as the synopsis promised and there was enough scorching sexual tension to write a whole other book.

Posted on What I'm Reading

So, I finished Avenger's Heat by Katie Reus. I need to come clean I haven't read the previous books in the series. I know, I know, and I probably should have read the others first. I plan on it. Anyway, at least I wasn't too lost when I read Avenger's Heat and it made sense to me. However, for those who haven't read the previous books you might want to read them to get the full effect.

In Avenger's Heat, Erin Flynn and Noah Campbell are sent down to New Orleans to figur
I hereby declare Avenger's Heat is my favorite book in the Moon Shifter Series. I also declare that Erin and Noah are now my new favorite couple. This is saying a lot in that I did not think anyone could top Kat and Jayce. Although, I loved me some Liam and December. Oh, who am I fooling, I just simply love this series and I think the author just gets better and better with each new book.

I felt like the author took her time with this story which allowed me to fall for Noah just as much as Erin
A captivating paranormal romance…

This is the 4th book in the Moon Shifter series but it can be read as a stand-alone. That’s what this reader did and had no problems following the paranormal tangents or delving into the world the author created, everything flowed so smoothly. Characters whose stories have already been told do appear and were found to be intriguing so more books in this series will be read.

Erin Flynn, a wolf shifter, is a new enforcer, protector to her kind. She was thus trained
I was extremely happy when I saw that Erin & Noah's story would finally be told. For those who have been reading the Moon Shifter novels, the interplay between the 2 of them has been an interesting side note to the previous books, and fulfills the need to know more about these 2 very interesting shifters.

For those who haven't read the series, but are looking for an entertaining, emotionally strong book, this one fits the bill, and you won't feel as if you have missed the first hour of a movi
I liked this book, though it was just as much about Brianna and Angelo as it was about Erin and Noah. It seemed like there just wasn't enough tension or enough obstacles between either couple for them to each have had their own book. Which is fine, the story was still interesting and, at times, touching.

It ended on an unnecessary cliff-hanger, which has become a bit of a pet peeve, so I took off a star. The last scene could have easily been part of the next book, as they introduced the new arc
Another really good addition to this series. I really enjoyed Erin and Noah and I loved when the gloves came off and Noah went after Erin with a vengeance. I also really enjoyed the side story with Angelo and Briannna I really hope we get more from them.
Review from Backchatting Books

Erin Flynn bucks the trend as she is a female Enforcer in a world dominated by men. She and Noah, the werewolf that adores her, travel down to New Orleans to try to investigate the disappearances of a group of pregnant shape-shifters. Angelo, their packmate and Brianna, a Fae warrior, are also recruited to help out.

I've had a pretty soft spot for Erin ever since she was introduced. She clearly had a traumatic past even though she wouldn't open up about it and desp

This book follows Erin, a newly trained enforcer, on her first mission in New Orleans. Someone has been kidnapping pregnant shifters and draining their blood. It falls on Erin, and her self-appointed protector Noah, to find out what's happening and bring justice to the guilty parties. While Erin has had strong feeling for Noah since the night he found her broken and abandoned body, she holds back knowing that she carries a tragic secret. Noah is relentless in his pursuit of Erin and won't even t ...more

The fourth book in Katie Reus’s Moon Shifter series had a different feel to it than the previous books in the series. Readers have anticipated Erin and Noah’s book based upon on the sexual tension they have radiated in the previous books. Them becoming bondmates has been something fans of the series have simply known would happen. I think that knowing it would happen lead to their minimal page time. I like my romances to focus on a specific hero and heroine. That would be Erin and Noah in this c ...more

I love Katie's books & am always so excited when she has a new release. Avenger's Heat was a lot of fun to read. Finally, we get Erin and Noah's story...and it was worth the wait! I have been pulling for them since the very beginning. Noah is a great character-he's completely secure in his role during Erin's investigation. While other males might have taken over, Noah was thrilled to see Erin in her new role as Enforcer. He appreciates her brains, her fighting

I enjoyed this one so much more than the previous book and now I'm looking forward to the next one
First of all, I received this book through Goodreads First Reads.

Although I didn't start from the beginning of the series, I really enjoyed this book. After reading the fourth I definitely want to go back and start from the beginning. The storyline was intriguing and the sexual tension between Erin and Noah has all the makings of a great romance novel that's impossible to put down. Overall I would recommend this book, and series, to any fan of romance novels. Anyone who might be wary of the "par
This was an exciting read for me. Erin is a character who always seemed a little off. With bits and pieces of her past throughout the series, I really wanted to know more. While this was full of mystery and action packed drama, the truth about Erin and her past was totally heart wrenching. It's easy to see why she fights so hard to keep Noah at bay. This was a nice addition to the series and I can't help but love Erin just a little more. Not only is she a big tough warrior but she is also empath ...more

Ok... This book so made up for the weak novella before it. Lots of connections to the book and pack, so it worked and I'm so glad.

This was a great story, not rushed, believable based on what we knew about Erin and Noah, and we got Brianna and Angelo's side story too!
I like that the books are connecting, by not only settling the issues intended for this installment, but also leaving a trail of interesting tid bits for the next book.

The story was great and really captivating. Enjoy every moment of it. I love the chemistry and connectionbetween them. The only thing i was a little ,eh about was how it told Angelo's and Brianna's story. I loved it don't get me wrong, but i would have loved to of had read their story as a novella? Awww! I loved this book about Noah and Erin! If you haven't read this series, these two characters have been denying their attraction to each other for some time. It was so great to see Erin overcome her self doubt in this book. And just as satisfying was seeing Noah being the Alpha male he is but still supporting Erin who is just as strong (if not stronger) than Noah is himself.

I always like to start my reviews with some praise, which can always be found, no matter how bad a book may be. Don't assume I am calling this book "bad" though- I will explain my reason for the 2 star rating soon enough. Praise first though:
