Princess Puppy is treated like most little girls wish to be brought up! She lives in a fabulous palace, wears beautiful ball gowns, has a superior education; she seems to have everything.

One thing she doesn't have is a friend. When she meets Molly, it is hard for her to make friends. But she does learn that it is okay not to behave like a princess all the time. It is okay to let your hair down and behave like a normal girl!

For a mom of a girly princess wannabe, this was a nice change of pace from our Disney princess books. We already love Ballet Kitty, so I wasn't surprised we liked Princess Puppy. I liked the message of not always needing to be a princess and about not being bossy.

This is a cute story about friendship and learning how to give and take and recognize each other's interests.
