Book to TV, OK
TV to book, not so good

So much of this book is hard to understand is you don't watch the show. Action only shown in pictures, rarely in the words. Not a good example of written material. Audience: kid who won't read (have read to) anything else.

The rangers see alien monsters come to help Vrak, fight them and win. Not bad, but not much else in the plot /dialogue department so little re-read value. (Unless you're 7, and then it's awesome and endlessly engaging, apparently). I believe this is based on season 1 episode 2, "He Blasted Me with Science."
