This is a well researched book. I knew next to nothing about Belarus and randomly chose this work to fill the gap. The narrative provides a broad historical and geographical context in which it locates the Rechitsa focus, making it a good resource from which to gain knowledge about the region that includes Lithuania, Poland, the Ukraine and Belarus.
