This was one of those free books that came in a mail-order book club I tried years ago. I just decided to finally read it and was pleasantly surprised by this book. I thought it would be a fluffy escape, which it was, but there were a few unexpected twists and even some good advice in what I expected to be a predictable plotline. I'm not dying to read more in this series, but I probably wouldn't mind, either. =)
A story of lost and found love. A story of a young man being chased out of town being from the wrong side of the tracks and coming back 10 yrs later a changed man. Good story. I felt the uneasiness of Larissa when confronted by her father. (I've had those same feelings). Looking forward to reading about the others in the town of Hartley Creek.
