The Just One Night has been an erotic trilogy of another type.
Nothing about this book felt tired or already done. It has been a journey through the struggle for power, who has it, who wants it and whether it kills something inside us when we get it, especially if you abuse it. I have really loved every minute of it.

This last instalment really took us there, definitely took me out of my comfort zone a few times and not in the usual way that an erotic book could. No, this time it was the personal

We are not Romeo and Juliet. We are Caesar and Cleopatra. We’re Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn, Pierre and Marie Curie. Our coupling has consequences, people’s lives will be changed. . .

This has been an excellent erotic trilogy – a little darker and a quite a little different from the rest. It’s definitely not a Fifty Shades style romance – it’s edgier, more thought provoking and far more about the power play than the romance. Having said that, it does have a highly satisfying ending with Robe

4 Strong Stars...A Happy Ending (and a BIG sigh of Relief)

“Suffering has been stronger than all other teaching, and has taught me to understand what your heart used to be. I have been bent and broken, but - I hope - into a better shape.”
Charles Dickens, Great Expectations

Kasie has everything. Everything! Money, career, fiancé, and the business savvy to climb the corporate ladder. It becomes apparent how safe and posh her world is. Fear, expectations, and the need for approval shaped her.

The conclusion of the Just one Night Trilogy......

A lot has happened for Kasie the past two books. She's climbed the ranks in her company (albeit not entirely ethically). She finds the power, the fear factor of those who report to her even more empowering. All this is thanks to the king of corporate bully-ism Robert Dade. I was seriously like...

This was a huge disappointment !! I nearly gave up half way through. It was so different from the previous books !

I did not like the characters. Kasie was really annoying and her inner monologues were ludicrous. I felt like screaming, ‘Please shut up’ !

I have no idea what happened to Robert. He was behaving so out of character. Him sharing her with other men/women, laying her on a bar table, allowing others to watch and touch her while he was f***ing her. I know it’s a spoiler, but honestly it

I couldn’t envision a better ending if I tried! These books are definitely different than anything else I’ve read in this genre; exploring the art of war, control, dominance… and in the end, an unconventional love story.

Part 3 picks up right where part 2 left off. Kasie craves Robert, but she’s unsure as to whether she can or wants to handle his controlling ways. She feels as if she’s jumped from one type of control (Dave’s) to another (Robert’s).

More fixating on what other people think about her & her reputation amongst her colleagues. She's insecure & questioning herself one minute then the next she's hitting me with thoughts like this: "His desire doesn’t stem from what he knows about my relationships. It stems from my power. I’m a force." What the what what?!?!?! Make.Up.Your.Mind! Pretty please with sugar on top? Just pick something a stick with it! Is that too much to ask? I swear Kasie can go from a power hungry narcissist to a wi ...more

You should sleep with a stranger"
That's what starts this whirlwind love affair . Overall this trilogy is steaming hot! However I was a little more than disinterested in reliving Kaisie's vivid daydream-sexual fantasies. The real life encounters with Robert surpassed her fantasies anyway.
My casting for Robert Dade: As soon as the author described him as handsome and dark with salt & pepper hair, I immediately pictured the beautiful George Clooney....

“He’s no longer a stranger. He’s my moon.”

Power Play , that’s what this book was all about. This is the final book in the Just One Night Series and it sucks that I really struggled with this one. I went in with a certain expectation and it turned out so different. The first two got me hooked, so I was looking forward to seeing this other side of Robert, it wasn’t even him who bothered me, it was Kasie. She couldn’t sleep in the bed she made, and couldn’t accept the life

Between the tequila and the scotch, I need a drink!!! I love their story and I was happy with their end. I would have liked an epilogue, but at least I got a HEA.
"Binding Agreement" is the last of Kyra Davis's trilogy of novellas, which composes the novel "Just One Night." I'm choosing to review each of the parts individually rather than the collective novel because each has its own separate arc, and I want to give attention to them as they were originally written before their compilation.

The title to this particular part of the series is appropriate considering this is not so much a romance as it is a contract, a lust, a pursuit of power. And honestly,

CAN I IF I TRIED?! NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's over. It is really over**sigh**. The last book in this incredibly wonderful and addictive series is over! WHY??!! calm down, calm the hell down!!

I loved this. If I haven't already made it clear: I LOVED THIS! The ending to this fantastical series was everything I wanted and more! We literally pick up from where Exposed left off. Kasie is confused. She has her dream career righ

And so another trilogy comes to an end.

Kasie and Robert met in Las Vegas and enjoyed some steamy headboard rockin', despite her having a live-in boyfriend. When she gets back to Los Angeles, she discovers that Robert is a new client of the firm for which she works and he requested her to be his point person. They continue to see each other, Kasie gets engaged and then breaks it off, and she leaves Robert, only to come back.

When this book begins, Kasie and Robert are settling into their romance.

5/29/13: Okay so at first I gave the book 2 stars. Thought about and took back a star. I never want to give a book 1 star. But I was just not happy with this book. It was like being told you are goin to Disney World only to find out that you were lied to and u ended up in your relatives backyard with Mickey Mouse decorations...A complete let down!

I’m so confused on what I just read what just happened here. I was really looking forwarded to this book release was beyond excited. And then I read th
Uhg, i was wonderfully exhausted after these 3 books (read all in one day...i have no life)
As i said in the prev. Reviews the blunt truth laid out in the narration is my favorite part of these books.
We all have these certain thoughts we deny, mask or even lie to ourselves about but i haven't seen that laid out in a narration very much, loved.

I was obviously rooting for a happy ending but so many things were still iffy about Kacie and Roberts 'relationship'... the what-ifs, and Kacie being strong

Unlike the other books, this felt contrived. "Okay, time to introduce something terribly naughty." "Whoops. We haven't had an interaction with Asha lately, better put an awkward one here." Meh.

I liked the other two because they were naughty and powerful. This one tries to do the same thing again, but isn't as successful. Okay, the issues between Kasie and Dave are sort of resolved, but there are so many other things out there left unaddressed. It was essential that Kasie resolve her issues with

I am really struggling to know what to say about this book.
I loved books 1 and 2 but I really struggled with this and nearly gave up half way through.
The style of writing seemed to be different and I struggled with that. Also Kasie has some F/F action. I am not a prude but girl on girl does nothing for me and found the parts when Robert and her were in the bar quite difficult to read.
Although a HEA ending, it seems rushed and very contrived. Its sad because for me this could have been a great se

Out of the frying pan, and into the fire…

Binding Agreement is the third and last installment of Kyra Davis’ Just One Night series. The book was a short and quick read for me. I’m finding that my personal preference would have been to have read this series as one book rather than waiting for each short novella to be published. Had it been one book, I wou

Wow, what a ride. I finished all three books in the Just One Night trilogy in the past two days. Reading this story was like falling into a pit of quicksand. There were parts of this novel I wanted to reject, they went against everything I believe, but the more I fought the more the author’s words pulled me under. And what wonderful words they were. Aside from the plot and characters, which I enjoyed, I really love this author’s choice of phrasing. Kyra Davis knows her way around a metaphor. I w

I loved the first book in this series. The second book was good. The third book, I don’t know. It was not bad, but it was not like WOW. I was expected a bigger BANG or something.

Did I feel connected to the characters? I was not sure what to think of the characters in the third book. I felt like they were different individuals from the people I met in book #1. However, days after finishing this book, I thought about the characters. Kasie met Robert and had an “affair” with him only aft

Just One Night: Binding Agreement is the third installment of the Just One Night trilogy by Kyra Davis. That one wild night in Vegas changed Kasie's whole world. It affected her job, engagement and even her relationship with her parents. Now Kasie is trying to settle into this new position of power, seduction and success all while balancing a passionate affair with sexy Robert Dade. As time moves on, Kasie wonders whether Robert is the right man or whether he is a stranger meant for just one nig ...more

If you've read my reviews on the previous 2 books of this novella trilogy, then you'd know I loathe Kasie & Robert Dade. They didn't get any better in this book either. That changed when I was about 70/75% into the book. I struggled with wanting to even finish the book because of stupid shit they were doing. The whole bar scene that Dade planned out was ridiculous & awkward. Honestly, if I was Kasie & found out the truth about that scene Dade wouldn't have any balls left! It wasn't till about th ...more

I found this book too rushed. The storyline was there and it was good, however, i found it difficult to connect with the characters. Sometimes Kasie is just not believable as a character, the interaction between her and Mr Dade seems to be based on their discussions about 'Their/His Rules'.

I liked the first book, the second was ok. The third book, i'm really struggling with it. I had to finish the book only because I'd started it and wanted to see it through. The bar scene was just odd on so man

The third and final book in this trilogy was a massive disappointment. The writing is weak and it's full of non-stop ramblings and internal musings from the heroine. Half the things that occur don't make sense and the explosive hotness I loved in the first book is missing in this one. Most of the times I had to re-read because I was confused by what was going on. There's a certain scene that I guess is supposed to shock readers but it made me roll my eyes and go, "Really? This is too absurd and ...more

Binding Agreement is the third installment in the Just One Night series. I had high hope for the direction of this book with development of book two. This installment left me a little disappoint, and the momentum that I was experiencing seemed to fall off. Incredible ending, Kassie finally comes into her own, the pivotal factor being her x boyfriend Dave ; seeing him ruined by Robert when she had come to a truce already with David and Robert need not have intruded.
Stepping back and accessing the changes in herself she comes to the conclusion that she does not paticularly like what she sees in the mirror, she breaks it of with Robert, and resigns her position and spends the next several months putting herself back together.

hmmmm. I have no idea how this book fell so far from the story preceding it. It was like the author wanted to try a completely different style of writing and it didn't work. I don't know how to even describe the last book in this series, it just didn't make sense to me. I'm obviously at a loss for proper words. Disappointing.

“Your problem is that you have never fully understood the power of being a desired woman.” My mind flashes back to a night in Robert’s bed. I had climbed on top of him, refused him until he said, “Please.” Asha smiles, reading my mind. “Power between the sheets means nothing if you don’t learn to extend its reach outside of the bedroom.” I look away. The room seems to be getting colder. I rub the back of my arms for warmth. “You don’t have to believe me,” Asha continues. “It’s in the stories of your religion. Adam and Eve, Samson and Delilah, Salome and her dance of the Seven Veils: they all speak to the same undeniable truth. If a woman truly wants something, whether it’s having her man bite into an apple, bringing a divinely appointed superhero to his knees, or a Baptist’s head on a silver platter, she can have it. A woman can have anything if she knows how to use what God gave her.” 0 likes
