Pretty good for $3.50. Low the conflict and romance between Derek and Lainey.

I purchased Ocean City Boardwalk series book :Take Me, I'm yours by Donna Fasano and this review was given freely.
Family oriented single mom and Day Care owner Lainey becomes involved with business focused single dad and billionaire Derek.
A poignant full length romance with heroism, a legacy, irony, good use of foreshadowing, attraction at first sight, scheming in the form of the mother of Derek's child, and lots of conflict make this an entertaining and interesting read.

Take Me, I'm Yours is such a wonderful quick read. I would have read it in one sitting if I didn't have to go back to work.
Lainey Adams is enjoying the day at the beach with her son, Brian when his sees a little girl wondering down the beach alone. She thinks nothing of it, there are families around but her son is insistent that she is lost and when a man grabs her Brian says that's she's being kidnapped. Lainey runs after them and ends up getting the little girl back and taking her to her gran

I had signed up for the Sweet Romance Reads read and review team and I received an email from Donna Fasano asking me if I would be interested in reading and reviewing this book. Upon reading the brief description of the book, I thought it would be something I would enjoy reading so I agreed to read and review it.

I was totally not disappointed. The story was well written and heart-warming. Although sometimes it is interesting to read a book with lots of steamy and sexy sex scenes, it was really g

This book pulls you right in from the get go! It was very well done. The writing was exceptional and moving. I could relate to Lainey immediately and I loved Derek’s character development. It is very easy to get caught up in the lives of Lainey and Derek. The details, the descriptions, the emotions all painted the pictures of this story in such a way that made it stand out so well that I find I am still thinking about it even days after I finished the book. To me, a good book is really just a mo ...more

My Thoughts....

This book is the ninth book I've read by this author, Donna Fasano, she is fast becoming one of my favorite authors of romantic novels. She keeps them "PG" rated, which is a big plus for me.

I wanted something light to read and this book hit the spot. It had me from the very first words, "Sunlight reflected on the ocean" it drew me right into the story. It was a fast read (I read it in one day) a delightfully fun and charming book with a little mystery thrown in. Frankly, I found i

A wonderfully woven story of love conquering all.

Lainey befriends a stranger on a beach after his grandchild is almost abducted.

When the stranger dies he bequeaths her generously for her heroism. Her new found wealth leads her to open a daycare centre allowing a lifelong dream to come true. But her wealth comes with stipulations. Enter the stranger's son, Derek, to whom Lainey is instantly attracted.

Throw into the mix Abbie, Derek's adorable young daughter and you think the story is heading for

I signed up for the Sweet Romance and Review team. I received an email from Donna Fasano asking if I wanted to read and review this book. I am always up for anything so I said yes.

I enjoyed this book. It was truly a sweet read. Lainey and Derek are brought together by his late Father. He felt that Lainey deserved a chance to reach her dreams and knew the secret to life that his son needed. I liked how their relationship developed and that they were accepting of each one another's children. This

This is a fantastic quick light read. I love the way this author makes the characters come to life. This one had me hooked from the first page. It starts with an attempted kidnapping and just keeps going. Derek has a wounded soul so although he is attracted to Lainey he can't quite let himself go after what he wants. When a meddling grandfather steps into the picture everything gets a little crazy. Lainey's character is perfect, she is strong, smart, and sweet but she is also determined to stay ...more

This story starts out with Lainey & Brian. Add Derek and his daughter Abbey. Lainey gets the chance she's always dreamed of. This is her chance at a stable life for her & her son. Her first meeting with Derek doesn't go well a few months later we find out why. Lainey & Derek have to work together. Lainey helps show him what's lacking with his relationship with Abbey. This leads to a question of maybe more than friendship between them. Then Laynie hired T.C. This results in turning everything ups ...more

I enjoy reading outside my own genre and sub-genre, and every so often I want to read a sweet romance. I picked up Take Me, I'm Yours because the blurb intrigued me and I'm a sucker for a good premise. Well, Ms. Fasano's story delivered on all counts. Sweet, but not insipid, romantic, but not gushy, with a touch of mystery thrown in for good measure, but nothing overly violent. Near perfect for my reading mood. If you like sweet romance with a touch of mystery, give this book a try.

Fun and quick read

Fun and quick read

This book was a fun and quick read for avid reader. The characters are endearing and the epilogue appreciated. Would have liked it more if it was a bit longer and the romance between Lainey and Derek more developed. Overall a decent read.

An interesting turn of events, leads to another twist which leads to fate? This story has many twists and surprises that keeps you guessing, but does love prevail? Reading is knowing! ;-) I give this book 3.5 stars it was sweet, but there became a point where Derek was extremely irrational and was very mean. I didn't like him much at that point.

This book was a lovely quick read that was very romantic, suspenseful and mysterious. I loved that characters of Derek and Lainey. They were the a narrow road and after they met, it became a highway of self-discovery. I loved how the story came together and tied all pieces and loose ends.

This was an awesome book. So far, every book of Donna Fasano that I've read, I have loved. I have to admit, I was really aggravated with the way some things went but in the end, it all worked out. A very good book indeed. I admit that I don't always see things the way others do. But I loved it.

Growing up the third child of five—yes, smack dab in the middle and the only girl to boot—Donna Fasano had no idea she would one day be a published author. Her story-telling talents came to light when she conjured lively and elaborate tales of pure blarney (yes, she has a bit of Irish in her blood) for, first, her youngest brother, and years later, her children.

Donna is a USA Today bestselling aut
