Any fan of Jersey Boys, the musical, will be delighted with Daniel Robert Sullivan's memoir of his two year on and off audition experience, followed by his eventual run as one of the Jersey Boys in the Toronto production.

Thankfully, Sullivan keeps a journal from the beginning of the lengthy path he takes to impress the Powers-That-Be enough to eventually be offered a role. In the beginning, he sees himself as suited to be one of the other Four Seasons, but is told well into the process that he s

This book will always hold a special place in my heart, since I considered myself a big part of the Jersey Boys community for a long time. I was even quoted in the book! It was really neat to get a "backstage pass" so to speak into the life of an actor in the show and see just how much hard work, and reward, it really was.
