Imo this is what a design book should be.

If you need inspiration, you're not going to get it from a textbook on design.

I leave this book on my desk and pick it up between breaks. There are a couple of quotes on here that have seriously resonated with me

Un'asciutta raccolta di frasi pronunciate da professionisti illustri del graphic design sulle tematiche più comuni del mestiere: dalla tipografia al rapporto con la committenza, dal metodo alla speculazione teorica, di ampio respiro o semplici fun fact. Il fatto che volutamente l'autore a volte affianchi frasi fra loro in contrasto sulla stessa tematica restituisce l'idea di un ideale dialogo e mette in luce al tempo stesso come si possa arrivare a risultati efficaci perseguendo anche metodologie differenti, purché coerenti con i propri scopi e le proprie inclinazioni progettuali.
