I picked this book up at a used book store and I had no clue that it was part of a series. I am already a fan of Ever After High and wanted to learn more about its sister series, Monster High. Although I didn't read the first book, this was such a fun romp and filled to the cauldron with adorable monster puns. Ge-Ogre-phy, Creep-ateria, and even something as silly as Creep Cries as a potato substitute all made me chuckle. This book focuses on three ghouls at Monster High who are trying to invest ...more
I love all things Monster High and I am an adult so take this under consideration as you read my review. I think Mattel's characters are unique and adorable. I love the little webisodes and special shows. I collect the dolls. And I loved Lisi Harrison's Monster High series. I was a little disappointed when that series, aimed at young teenagers, was discontinued as I could read and really enjoy those. Ginny's series is aimed at a much younger crowd and I am sure that they are trying to target the ...more

I'm only giving this 3 stars because I think the Monster High concept is adorable and because my 7 year old and 2 year old love the movies and toys. With that said, I bought my 7 year old (well she will be 7 in July, whatever) this book at a book fair. She loves to read and is pretty good at it. I warned her it is probably geared more toward the 10-12 'tweens'. I told her, read what you can and highlight words you don't know. The book became forgotten REAL quick. A few nights ago, I pulled it ou ...more

I read this for my daughter who loves Monster High. While I generally hate cliffhangers in books, this series promises to continue. I know she can't wait for book three.
The second book in the series, and we continue where we last left our girls. :)

Sadly, this book is not like the other. There we had a problem, a climax and also an ending. In this book, we still have a problem, and then it suddenly ends and you will have read book 3. :\ Oh well.

The girls are back and better, I really liked them in this book, you could see them start to become even better friends. It was at times really exciting and I couldn't wait to find out who made all the bad signs/omens etc

Im giving this monster high book 4 out of 5 stars manly because the complexity of the words!! I'm 21 and some of the words are to hard to pronounce and some i have to look up!! And im pretty good with vocabulary!!
The story's was pretty good like the first book but left me wanting more....i felt it was really good but not as good as the first!! Even with what I put I would still recommend this book to MH lovers!!! :)

Ghoulfriends Just Want To Have Fun by Gitty Daneshvari is a decent book!As I said before about the series on my review for the first book,I enjoyed the series more when I was in 2nd grade because I was into Monster High.I think it is ok to read books you used read when you were little because you can do some reflecting. What I mean by this is as I read the book and wrote this review,I have been thinking why I was into the series and enjoyed it way more when I was small then I do now.For example,t ...more

Ghoulfriends Just Wanna Have Fun 2
PLOT: After the events of the whisper in GHOUL FRIENDS FOREVER Rochelle, Robecca, and Venus greet new students Jinafire Long and Skeleta to Monster High. Neither one is sure they trust that Miss Flappers claims of being controlled by the Whisper. Especially when strange things start happening. Spider webs are appearing everywhere (with a lack of spiders). White cats and bats are showing up in droves (in Monster High this is the equivalent to black cats) and then

Sometimes I’m just lost for words. I enjoyed Ghoulfriends Just Want to Have Fun, it was fun reading something that isn’t completely serious once in a while and I love how well in tuned this writer is with Monster Highs world. But (y’all sensed that huh) I felt like this was mainly just a build up for the next book, which it was.

This book was really good and I think I liked it so much because of the plot and that it was really descriptive. In this book the ghouls arrive back to school after the whisper incident. Everything seems fine and dandy until white cats and bats start appearing which is bad luck for monsters. Everyone thinks that its just a prank, exept for Rochelle, Robecca, and Venus. No one seems to care about the whisper incident and the ghouls get invited into the Frightingales Society. The Hex Factor Talon ...more

I read a book called Forever by: Gitty Daneshvari. This book is the first one in the Ghoulfriends series. The book is about three girls named Rochelle, Venus, and Robecca who are starting at a new school called Monster High. The students there are obsessed with a new teacher they haven't met and the three friends wonder why. They meet one other boy who doesn't have this teacher and says he finds it weird that everyone is crazy about this teacher too. There is some internal conflict when Rochelle ...more

In the second Monster High novel by the brilliant Gitty Daneshvari, ghoulfriends, Venus, Robecca, and Rochelle, return to Monster High for their second semester, still recovering from "The Whisper" of the first. As they settle in, coping with the fact that the teacher that supposedly started the havoc of Semester 1 moves into to dorm next to them. As white cats and bats begin to appear in Monster High, messages are written on the walls, accusing the three friends of what passed and what is to co ...more

This is the second in the books dealing with Rochelle Goyle, Venus McFlytrap and Robecca Steam. The girls are still getting over the events of the first book when something else crops up. They hear someone visiting Miss Flapper, one of the teachers involved in the book one problem, and they begin to think that she is up to something.

In addition, dolls of doom and white cats start showing up in the school, both symbols of bad luck to the ghouls. Spiderwebs also start showing up and one of the gi

No nie?! Knihy odporúčam už len z toho dôvodu, že ak ste fanúšikom týchto potomkov slávnych p ...more

Monster High Ghoulfriends Just Want to Have Fun by Gitty Daneshvari is a really good book. This book is about three monsters who are having fun at Monster High until they find a strange doll during catacombing class that hints to threaten the school. They have no clue what is going on, but when they see white cats appearing in the creepateria, then they know something is going on. The three friends must find out what is going on before something bad happens to everybody. I like this book because ...more

Oh, Ghoulfriends, I wanted to like you so much. And you were fun enough to read although I think you could dial back on some of the overtly cutesy things because I did develop a headache any time I read too much of you in one sitting.

Thing is, nothing happened. Or it sort of did, but nothing was resolved and that's just wrong. You don't need to settle everything, but really, you should do more than have threats of something happen only to have the school sorta turn on our core three and then fin

This book was much the same as the first in the series however the plot was a bit more silly. It was still fun and I think anybody who loves Monster High would enjoy it however there isn't a lot of depth here and I was disappointed that a lot of the major characters were lacking in the book. I don't mind Venus, Rochelle, and Robecca but I have personal favorites from the movies and whatnot and its kind of disappointing not being able to read about them as well! However it was still a nice easy a ...more

This book by Gitty Daneshvari is and awesome book. I enjoyed it so much and I would really recommend it to a friend. I was so hooked with all the descriptive words and details that I didn't notice what was going on around me. I think that this book was very interesting and I was so sad at the end when it said to be continued. I wanted to find out more. I think that I would recommend this book to a girl. Someone who loves monster high would most likely read the book.

This picks up on the adventure of the first book; if you liked it you'll probably like this. It kind of ends in a cliffhanger that'll leave you in desperate need of the 3rd.

I liked it!

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of how it sometimes drags on a little bit; it can get boring put picks up. It leaves you guessing & kind of in the dark until the very end.

But, of course, there's still mystery & I can't wait for the next one.

I liked this one better than the other, but I was very unimpressed with the ending. It ended without really telling whether or not it was Miss Flapper doing it again.
I don't really like--or trust--Miss Flapper. She is not as she pretends to be. I feel like she's going to start up again.
I am, however, glad that the trio got to become a part of the Frightengale Society.
I am looking forward to the next novel. I hope the library gets it.

The ghouls stopped the teachers mind control, but now she wants a second chance and says she didn't know that she was doing it herself. The ghouls don't believe and everyone says don't worry she's changed. The ghouls think something else is up. They go on another adventure to stop this dragon once and for all.

It was perfect just like the 1st one. I thought that the first one was the best. The 3rd one was even better. And still with the 4th coming out I think that will be them all. I think that the 1st one was better because I thought that it explained more.

Another good book, especially for my ten year old. Still love how the author tweeks "normie" words to make them monster words. This adds a bit of humor for adults and advanced readers.

I really enjoyed this story primarily because of the mystery involving the white cats, messages, and voodoo dolls. I can't wait to read the next book!

I also enjoyed the close friendship the girls share. I wish I had that!

Another one I read because my daughter did. Not much happens in this installment of the series. A lot of speculations and a cliff hanger ending however does give me some interest to read the next one.

Gitty Daneshvari was born in Los Angeles to an Iranian father and an American mother. As a child she talked incessantly, feeling the need to comment on everything around her. While at first charmed by her verbose nature, her family soon tired of the constant commenting. This is how she found writing — it was better than talking since she didn't even need anyone else to do it with.
