This book explains the mind set of Muslims in sub-continent after the war of 1857..It explains the ugly thinking style of muslims from micro(family) level to macro(politicle)level..
Its lesson "AKBARI KI HIMAQTAIN" is very famous &worh teading.

Tauba-Tun-Nasooh is a Classic Urdu novel by Deputy Nazeer Ahmed Dehlvi and after reading this book you will wonder... what kind of Urdu do we speak…!!!??? You better keep Feroz-ul-Lughat Urdu to Urdu dictionary before reading this book. :p

ٹھیک ہے آپ اصلاح کرنا چاہتے ہیں لیکن یہ کونسا طریقہ ہے کہ لٹھ لے کر سب گھر والوں کو اچانک ایک بلکل الٹ طرز زندگی پر مجبور کریں .

Recommends it for: Those interested in classic urdu literature
You might like this novel if you haven't read 'Mirat ul Uroos' or 'Fasana e Mubtala' but if you have, you'll find it repetitive. The novel is composed of chapters on topics(Deputy Nazir's signature) instead of following a chronological order. The chapters are composed of huge chunks of dialogues which are more or less sermons.
The novel gives a very good picture of the beliefs and culture of the Urdu speaking Muslims of British India but other than that it has nothing to offer in terms of narrat
