2.75 stars. The H was clearly in love with the h from pretty much the start. Only the h appeared to be in doubt about this. The OW was given a lot of attention from the H's family, not from the H, so it's low-stakes.

First half of the book was okay but it went downhill from the time he took her on the lake trip. It seemed then that her character took a change for the worse. The heroine had seemed fairly intelligent in the beginning of the story but her intelligence seemed to decrease the further the story went. She sounded like a totally different girl by the time the end of the book is reached.

Was decent as a break book, but sort of silly overall...writing not the greatest, but not to be expected with one of these, really.
