*My husband has graciously offered to review Rune for me, since I have a gigantic review pile. Here is his review:

What can I say about Rune? Well, lets start at the beginning. As soon as I opened the book to the first page, the art kind of made me do a double take. It just was not appealing from the beginning to the end. It’s hard to explain exactly what it was about the art I didn’t like. Suffice it to say it severely detracts from the story.

I enjoyed it a lot! The art was occasionally distracting, but on the whole the models and backgrounds looked good. The characters were believable and well fleshed-out, and the story was original and gripping.

I won this on a giveaway on Goodreads. Interesting story line. Simple graphics, but not unpleasant to look at. The ending was good.
