Nabokov is by far the master of adjective and wording. Not only is his vocabulary impressive, but his use of it is so beautiful and poetic. In this book, there is no real plots, no surprises and no twists, just pure and raw emotions. The writting of Nabokov transports you to a dream-like state where each setences provoque a new emotion. At the end of each short stories, you are left puzzled. Nothing really happened, but somehow, you still felt something.
