Tempting Prudence: Very quick, sexy office romance between a boss and the company accountant. Prudence is curvy and a bit shy. Jonas is big and a go getter who doesn't like his women fragile. With some enticing chocolate cherries the two enjoy losing their inhibitions.

The Gypsy in the Sweet Shoppe (from Cowboy Up) has set up in the office building that Prudence works in. It’s just not fair. First she is busted drooling over The Sweet Shoppe’s offerings by Jonas Smith from the office then her meeting with him is postponed until that evening where he presents her with a box of chocolate covered cherries. Now she gets to be tempted by them both. What is a girl to do?
This is a short re-release from Melissa Schroeder’s back list. I loved Jonas. He respected Pru and her plus size was a plus for him. I've met a lot big men over the years that would agree with Jonas that skinny girls are breakable. If you want a short sweet sexy read pick this up.

Not bad, but I think I liked the first book in the series better. This one felt a little more rushed and didn't have quite as much character development. However, as is the norm with Melissa Schroeder books, the sex was hot. *thumbs up* to that!

A hot, short read. I loved the insecure, skittish Pru! I felt like it was out of character for her to take the reigns and suddenly become confident when they have sex for the first time, though. I think I've read all of this kind of set-up though, I'm out of chubby, insecure heroines! :(

A short, nice afternoon read. Nothing really exciting or enchanting happens, but it is a sweet story of two people who doubt their ability to attract the other. If you want to just escape into a book, lose a few hours, not tax yourself, this is the book for you.

Temping Prudence with chocolate covered cherries by a handsome, big sexy cowboy is just cool. Jonas is so respectful of Prudence and into pleasing her and she feels the same about him. The happy ending just made it better, when they switched roles and kept right on lovin' each other.
