This was originally titled This Heart of Mine but I kind of like the new title better (and the cover! I just love those red heels!) Sweet Ride was a fun and sweet Contemporary Romance with Bonnie Edwards’ typical humor sprinkled throughout. Highly spirited romance. The '65 cherry-red Mustang caught my eye, along with the tall, dark and gorgeous banker. There's a stubbor and quirky old man who is having fun playing cupid. Fun read

I liked the characters and the way the author constructed the story. We all have our own hangups and we handle them differently.

Katie Calhoun has had a difficult childhood and is no rush to get into any relationship. When her older boss, whom she sees as a father figure, Harry has a stroke she agrees to move in with him to help him out while she runs his car dealership.

Little did she expect for Jace Donner, Harry's nephew, to also be at Harry's to help him out.

Katie is not ready for commitment and as her and Jace closer she pushes him away. When Jace begins to make life decisions for Katie, she needs to really re-evaluat
