I absolutely loved this book. Maybe it was due to the fact I myself am a teenager, but I found it really easy to empathise with the characters. The story-line had a real John Green type feel, with the main male role being beta to his love interest, the female main character. A great adventure, surprisingly dark and intense at times for a children's/ teen's book... Well for a non fantasy one to come out during Harry potter's early days at least. Still remains one of my favs to this day and is the only one in that category to not have been turned into a movie.

Now on Kindle's bookstore for 99p, ignore the age group and read it. I bought it the other day, the cover sadly is rubbish the book is still great

It is interesting to see the mix of her serene attitude as she trusts in a "greater power" as Liam struggles to find peace at all & understand the implications of what L ...more
