Empathetic and dignified depiction of conjoined twins. Some other political views are out of date. Themes of what it means to be perceived as strange, and mother/daughterhood. I felt compelled to read it twice.

it's a 4.5 for me.
When I first read the blurb, I wasn't that interested... the life of conjoined twins made me think of pain and suffering and bullying. However, this is not it at all!
First off, it's not a true story. It's a fictional autobiography.
It's well written to allow the disorderly memories to flow.
It's funny, sad, humbling. I love the twins and their family.
I loved it and I highly recommend.

Wow. This book just blew me away. I feel like Rose and Ruby are my friends because the author was so masterful in how she let us get to know them.

Don't let the fact that this book is about conjoined twins scare you away. It is incredibly written and will leave a mark on your memory forever.

This is really well done. Very creative anx the characters are extremly relatable. The author manages to shock you at points. Highlyrecommend.
