I wanted to like this book a little more, but Violet is too much of a doormat. I understand where her fear and timidity stems from but there was absolutely no fight in her. Whatever Cadeon wanted, Cadeon got.

"Come here."
"Okay."
"You're coming home with me."
"Why?"
"Because I said so."
"Alright."
"You're sleeping in my bed with me."
"It's not appropriate."
"So? It's what I want."
"Okay."
"Take off your panties."
"I need those."
"We're playing by my rules."
hands over panties

And Cadeon. It's incredibly obviou

I liked this book. Yes, it was totally unbelievable and there wasn't much character development or build-up. Normally, that would drive me crazy and I'd lose interest. In this case, I liked the characters and the story enough, despite all that, to keep reading. It wasn't an epic love story and I didn't expect it to be. It was a hot, sexy, erotic tale, featuring an uber-alpha male and a stereotypical damsel in distress. It was an easy, quick and entertaining read. Guilty pleasure...and I liked it ...more

This wasn’t for me. I don’t dig the BDSM club scene. Being on display in front of others is one of my limits.

The H using his club for ‘possession’ doesn’t make sense.

So, if that doesn’t bother you, maybe you’ll like it.

Sweet & tender, dark & heavy. That's how I would describe it. In common with Sam's shorter stories the fact that it is an easy read. You just want to keep reading! Sometimes a bit surprising with the hero's moods though. The next stories about the owners can't come too soon (maybe with a little more action!?)

Cadeon Ashwood is overly possessive and when he meets Violet he knows she is the woman for him. The possessive instinct she stirs within him drives him out of his mind. Could she be the one to take his heart ...

Violet is a shy young woman and she has a dark past filled with shame. She lives in constant fear of being found so she tries to live mingling in without standing out in the crowd.

When Cadeon sees an opportunity to get close, he takes it with everything he’s got.
But the past always comes

Good premise book. Successful and rich CEO sees low level female employee instantly knowing she's his perfect match. But said girl doesn't want anything to do with him. It's up to Cadeon to change her mind without having her run from him and disappear before he's had a chance to claim her.

As always this author has a good premise book. It starts out strong and compelling full of suspense, sexual action, and the promise of a really good story line. Unfortunately it didn't deliver that for me. Too

HE'S POSSESSIVE

Right from the first moment Cadeon Ashwood sees Violet Moore working for his company he wants her. Violet is a shy and introverted young woman, but she enjoys her job delivering the post and coffees. She has no idea that her boss intends to make her his.

For the most part I liked this. Cadeon literally steamrolled Violet into doing his bidding. There was some added extra interest from a danger to Violet from her past. The sex scenes were okay. But there were a lot of typos which ra

I really wanted to like this story, but I just couldn't connect with the characters and their situation. What Violet thought of as protective or possessive in a good way from Cadeon came across as pushy and forceful. I found myself confused quite a few times as sentences became repetitive and stilted. Scenes would move quickly from one to the next and then have a moment of fluidity before moving quickly again. The dialogue is a bit awkward and there is a serious need for editing throughout the s ...more

' “I love you, Violet.”

“I looked at you, and my world fell apart. I knew I wanted you, and I’d do anything to get you. You feel this?” He placed her hand over his heart. “It beats for no one but you.” '

Not sure what to think of the book. Sometimes I felt it wasn't getting to the whole point of the story quick enough. and sometimes I just felt bored with the characters...

don't get me wrong, the chemistry is HOT, and the romance is good, but I couldn't keep my head in it.

I didn't really care for the characters in this novel. They didn't really seem to have an emotional bond like the other characters that are in Sam Crescents other novels. I felt the hero wasn't really into the heroine, he just wanted her as a 'possession'.

This book, Wow, very good, had some action, love affair from an older man to a younger girl, domanance and possessiveness. Even though there were things that from a strong woman will not tolerate but Violet felt good for Cadeon. Don't get me wrong I love a strong man that knows what he wants and desires to posses. But there were part of this book that I was saying to myself WTF; example, After he feed her strawberries, he tells her to open her mouth to make sure she ate them, hmm or when she rai ...more

This is yet another book that Sam Crescent did a great job with, I was hooked within the first few pages and really connected with the characters. When Cadeon first met Violet he knew she had to be his, but Violet has a devastating past and is in hiding from people who want to harm her. Cadeon will make sure to do everything in his power to not only protect Violet but to make her his . I really liked this book, I have read several books by Sam Crescent and this is one of my favorites. I loved al ...more

Hmmm I have two things to say about the book, I love it story-wise, but the one problem I have is with how the author write the story or how the story is being told. 75% of the book was great written but the other part I felt that the way it was told was sometimes cut and doesn't finish relating the scenes. it sometimes jumps from one scene to the other too fast. And I expected more at the ending, not like a page to tell yeah he got her and then the bad guy is dead, its like a lot of the story i ...more

I find this to be one of my favorite books that Sam has to offer. I really enjoyed the little bit of BDSM that was there and hope that with the coming books in this series she will explore it a bit more.

Real alpha male in this authors books. Written mostly from the male side, which is unusual. Well written and one of my new favorite authors.

I liked the plot but I didn't like the execution. I'm not impressed by the writing style. I felt the same on a previous book.

So this book left me feeling kind of mixed. I liked it but at times I just thought the quality was pretty poor.

Some of it was literally just facts stated.

She was gorgeous. In an instant, I knew she was mine. My soulmate. Her hair was brown and her eyes were nice to. I really like her and she is sweet and funny and mysterious. And we've only spoken once.

That was the kind of thoughts running through Caedon's mind. In the prologue he saw her and with the magic of instalove her knew she was the one.

I just finished the EXCELLENT 'The Skulls' series by Sam Crescent and decided to read another series by Sam Crescent. Sorry to say, His Possession was not as exciting as 'The Skulls'. This is the story of Cadeon (billionaire, dominant, employer) and Violet (poor, shy, submissive, employee, who has a secret past). Cadeon was instantly attracted to Violet and took over her life completely. While I found the relationship storyline interesting, the drama with the secret past did not

"I love you, Violet. I looked at you and my world fell dawn. I knew I want you, I'd do anything to get you. Can you feel this?" Cadeon

Nah, begitulah ketika Cadeon, pria berumur 40 thn, kaya raya, tampan, dominan, gila kontrol, posesif bgt, mengungkapkan perasaannya ke Violet, wanita yg tadinya hanya karyawannya, muda belia, virgin in everyway, blushing in many times, pemalu. Dan Cadeon sudah menahan perasaanya sejak their first met di lift kantornya, selama 1 tahun. Tapi, pas Violet jadi milikny

Sam Crescent has a way of portraying Dominant men and submissive women that hit both the good and bad buttons in my psyche...................I think what really pushed me away from giving a better rating was the lack of personality in Violet and Cadeon’s insistence to take away everything (no work, no friends, and no contact with anyone); it just doesn’t sit right with me.

I will be reading more from Sam Crescent, just because I can’t

I can't believe that trees (which give us LIFE) were cut down to produce this "book"! usually I respect anyone who writes their thoughts out and gives it to the world, but this book just wasted time that I could have been using to do something more pleasant (like watching paint dry or grass grow) the writing was clunky, confusing (like using british slang with an american character and forgetting that the uk has free healthcare) and just plain sporadic! like the author literally used predictive t ...more

Ok not exactly my cup of tea!

Violet really irritated me at the beginning of the book. I was annoyed at her lack identity in herself. Yes she was 21 but shouldn't college have given her some sort of character.

I felt that Cadeon and Violet just sort of tumbled together there was no depth to their initial courting/dating or I should say kidnapping.

But her backstory and past played nicely into the end!

Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound.
She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be foun
