I found this to be a fascinating collection of short stories. I believe it is one of those books you will feel passionate about - either you will love it or you will hate it. Writing this review is a bit difficult, not only because it is shorts and I do not want to give away too much. But more due to the fact that I am thinking. I am examining. Very dark and enchanting. I was pulled into every story by the intense details. The most fascinating pro was that I never knew if the narrator was male or female(until it was clearly mentioned). There are some grammar issues (JVK, I would be thrilled to proof read your work if needed),but over all it's like story poetry.

I really LOVED this collection! This is really good writing and I am genuinely impressed. The tales are dark and poignant and just plain touching. You will like you are listening to the voice of the characters in your head. Loved it!

A very passionate collection of short stories with deeply rooted emotions and powerful vocabulary. Nicely written, with just a few tense issues, and interesting narrative development and flow.
This collection gives you a real taste of J.V.K's talent and passion that she has for her work.
Lovely.

I cried after reading these short stories. It's powerful and stunningly Amazing vocabulary stirred emotions within me. This was a new type of genre for me, a little dark but nonetheless, it was beautifully crafted and I look forward to reading vol 2
