This book is too adorable! My kids love it and I love the artwork :) It teaches about the changes of the seasons in beautiful illustrations. Definitely a grade school book but can be read to younger children who would love the illustrations and the simple story. I adore this children's book series and will buy the rest to share with my children.

***This book can be read to preschoolers and read by older children

Enjoy whatever few seconds the author has provided with Petal the owl. Know about its favourite season and time of the day through this picture book. If only the author had spend more thoughts on the framing and illustration of the scenes and proper font selection, it would have been a good hit with the parents and their little ones, especially with an inquisitive daughter.

Petal loves all the seasons, but she likes Spring most. So, she waits through Autumn and Winter for Spring to arrive, so that she can fly throw the beautiful blossoms.

I liked this cheerful little story, and the cute art.

I got this one as a free eBook on Amazon awhile back. I am not certain whether it is still available for free, but feel free to go check.

I picked this up as a Kindle freebie to see how picture books translate to a device. Colorful, sweet little story about an owl who hangs on through autumn and winter to get to her favorite season - Spring!

It walks through all the seasons students experience in a classroom. Summer isn't in the book. Would be a good book to describe the seasons to younger students.

Cute story.

This is just a short little story. It mentions three of the four seasons. The owl illustrations are cute. They are worthy of being framed in a child's nursery or bedroom. The only thing wrong with this story is that it is so short.

Joy Findlay loves reading and writing, caramel lattes, music, exploring life through art and creativity through design. She enjoys a good book while curled up in the sun. When not wrangling two squidletes and two rescue cats, she is hanging out with my amazing hubby, watching sci-fi online or laughing at how crazy her life gets.
