Once again, I get the squee bucket ready, and then.... Never mind.

The completely believable set-up, likeable characters, and low-key spiritual themes carried me through the first half. I came >thatclose< to giving this a B- because it’s definitely memorable, and I loved the meet-cute and early relationship-building.

Maybe she was boring him to tears? Was this his standard behavior? If so, his looks must be what attracted others to him, because as far as Pax could tell, his

I was really excited to sit down with this book. A Christian romance about a baseball player? What’s not to love? But as I started to read, I had mixed reactions. First of all, I had a little trouble with their names. I’m not sure why; they just didn’t seem to fit the characters. It’s not a big deal or a deal breaker for me. I’ve read books like that before, but I did find it a bit distract

This is a well written story about Pax and Seb. Seb is a star baseball player who needs to do some charity work to improve his image. Pax works for the charity that Seb.'s agent is looking at going with. That is how they meet. Though to Pax's surprise, Seb found her different in a good way and wants to get to know her better. So, little by little Seb starts changing. Pax keeps being herself and inviting him to do things such as go to the hospital with him to visit kids. I think the moment goes i ...more

"Just a little Faith" by Amy J. Norris was truly one of the best reads that I have truly romantic read in a very long time. This author Ms. Norris did s very good job with her storytelling of "Just a little Faith. It was truly a novel of a strong family sense of faith. With all of that just add the humor that I found that this read had and you will find a well written dialogue being very easy to

This was an interesting read, though depressing a bit too often for my tastes. The book focused much more on the Christian angle than the romantic angle. Tragic events and dealing with the present took over the book. The romance, though there, definitely took a back seat to the story of coming closer to God. Sebastian had some non-relatable reactions to things, and Pax had little flair to her personality. Though it was realistic in dealing with the harsh events of life, it didn't make me smile, ...more

This being my first read from author Amy J. Norris, I was very impressed by the storyline. Pax, a woman of faith dates a Major League Baseball player, Seb, and they discover that they don't share a common bond that involves being a believe of Christ. Many events take places in their individual lives and their lives together as a couple that makes Pax's faith even stronger and leaves Seb questioning Pax's strong faith. Soon after all these major events come to the forefront, it sparks something i ...more

Enjoyable clean, Christian romance. Seb (Bash), a professional baseball player for the St. Louis Cardinals, and Paxson, an LLS fundraiser for cancer patients, meet and begin a rocky relationship as they try to understand each other’s completely foreign lifestyles (Seb’s famous party lifestyle and Pax's calm, religious background of faith and morality). I enjoyed the character’s interaction, dialogue, and the pace of the story.

An avid reader since she first recognized the letters "C-A-T," Amy J. Norris dreamed of writing her own books which not only provided opportunities for readers to enjoy romance but also tug at their heartstrings through the tragedies we all face. A resident of Huntsville, Alabama, Amy works for one of the hundred government contractors in the area. Amy also spends her Monday nights singing with a ...more
