What do you do when an author is having a free promotion of an entire series in ebook? Download them all, of course. It is slightly dangerous to have the next book readily available when you finish the previous one though. There is nothing to stop you from galloping through a great series. I speak from experience. :D

I had mixed feelings about this book, so this review will be in list format of things I liked and disliked. I’ll start with negatives first so we can end on a positive note. ;)

The best book in a wonderful trilogy!
This was a most exciting and entertaining conclusion to the Destiny Series. Though I'll be sorry to part with the wonderful characters, I was so glad to see everything come to a happy and satisfying conclusion. I will be honest and say that I was not sure if I would enjoy the story once I realized who would be the "man of the hour" (what can I say? I've just always preferred a story's Handsome Rogue!) but once I adjusted my line of thinking I thought the stor

What a great conclusion to this three book series! This one was really packed with action, excitement, and reminders to trust God for our strength – apart from Him we can do nothing.
In The Destiny of a Galaxy, which starts off some years later from the second book,Maria begins the story questioning God’s destiny for her, feeling left behind and bored. But soon enough adventures unfold, drawing her into the thick of it. We see her take joy, stand up against horrible trials, and learn to surrender

Sarah Holman has crafted yet another epic adventure for readers of Maria Morris's story. In keeping with the other two books (the first and second in the series, The Destiny of One and The Destiny of A Few), the author delivers a detailed look into the future, a tyrannical government, and the young woman at the heart of the Rebellion.

New changes, new characters, new crisis' form the crux of this fascinating ending to the series. Be sure to read the first two books, then revel in the last install

Wow! What a finale! This series just got better and better. I loved the first book but I don't think I was quite prepared for how epic (in the real definition of the word) and beautiful this story would turn out.
I treasured how Maria's full character was revealed, through the eyes of those who know her. I love stories where the hero or heroine have a critical or humble view of themselves while everyone else is seeing something else: his or her selflessness, courage, and excellence. Maria takes
This is book 3 in Sarah's "Destiny" series and I must say, it was my most favorite!

This third book was packed with spiritual encouragement and godly applications for life. Though I am not a lover of science-fiction in any form really...I have quite enjoyed this series, and most especially this last book with it's daring adventures, comic relief, and my favorite part - characters who truly seek the Lord's will in all things, even when it gets hard.

The characters are my *favorite* part of Sarah'

Sniff. I didn't want the series to end. I fell in love with the characters and story. I wanted to read more. I purposely put off reading the last few pages just so it wouldn't end. (And that my friends is a sign of a good book) Action packed, humorous, and with a hint of romance this book was an epic finish to the Destiny Trilogy.

By far, my favorite book in the series. The Destiny of a Galaxy was packed with adventure, faith, hardships, and a sprinkling of romance. I had trouble wanting to put it down while reading. I just HAD to find out what happened next!

The final installment of the Destiny Trilogy picks up 3 years after book #2. The Followers have been building in number, in faith, and battle apparatus. The time is at hand for the Rebellion to overthrow the tyrannical government... In other words, it's the big climax of the series, and you don't want to miss it!

Even though what was Maria's destiny has now multiplied itself, spreading across the galaxy now, she finds herself doing the mundane chores of household work, pondering what her role in

This third book kept me reading. It was definitely more dramatic than the other two. The characters were so much fun to hang out with! Again, I loved the intense spiritual focus and overall "cleanness" of the story - it allows me to recommend this books without hesitations. The plot was straightforward - I did predict almost everything well ahead of time, but that didn't spoil the story.

I felt it ended a bit too soon - I wanted to see Maria on Mars again (especially with the "dome house" scene

How can I sum up this AWESOME book in just a few word? It was so GREAT!!!! I wonderful ending to the series, even though there is a novella.

The action was so great! This book was very beautifully thought out--as was the whole series--and I was gasping aloud several times. The characters were awesome! It was so much fun getting to see them a couple years later and seeing how they matured.

This whole series was very easily put near the top of my favorite list. So wonderful!

This was the best book of the trilogy. The adventures were exciting and kept me turning pages all day. Maria's stand for her faith and her cause was definitely the best part. I have always been thrilled by stories both true and fiction of those who risk everything for what they believe.
There was one scene that was confusing and I didn't feel that it was explained enough; but overall a wonderful book. I'm very glad to have been introduced to the Destiny Trilogy.

Probably my favorite of the series! I enjoyed all the action and excitement as things finally drew toward a showdown. And oh, goodness, the banter was wonderful! (And we all know I'm a sucker for banter...) Quint, James, Winter, and Maria were all in great form, and I loved seeing the growth in them (certain ones especially).

There were some places where the editing was still a bit rough, but again it didn't bother me as much as it could have because I got so caught up in the story. There were al

(Note: this is more of a series review than a review of the individual books.)

When I saw that the first book of the Destiny Trilogy was available for download on kindle for free, I figured I could give it a try.
The first book, The Destiny of One, was quite good, but it wasn’t hard to see that it was the author’s first book. There were a lot of things that could have been improved. Even so, I loved the story, and was eager to read book two, The Destiny of a Few. The writing improved 50% in b
Maria Morris is feeling left out from all the activity going on at the headquarters. When James invites her to go along with him to visit headquarters, she readily agrees. But things quickly go downhill once she gets there and Maria is forced to make the hardest decisions of her life. Decisions that could affect the lives of thousands of peoples.

Getting to the end of this series made me so sad. I wanted it to just keep going on and on. I fell in love with all the characters. All the emotions in

Best part: Quint is in almost the entire book. Worst part: the end is the end of the story. The Destiny of a Galaxy is an epic ending with plenty of action, suspense, danger, and the prospect of weddings to finish it off. All the old characters are back, and though at the beginning Maria is again struggling with the old question, "What does Maria Morris want to do with her life?" I'm pretty sure she has figured it out by the end. Though at first I wanted the ending to be different if I said in w ...more

Man, oh man did this book have me on the edge of my seat. I ended up having to read this book in one sitting because I could not put it down! (Homemakers, do not do this, your husband won’t like it. *smile*) In the beginning of the book I felt for Maria, as she felt lonely, left out, and no longer needed. But as the book picked up I felt such an array of emotions; from terror, to excitement I could not stop my heart from racing.

Things I Loved:

I loved the overall plot of this book, and I really l

Sarah Holman is a not so typical mid-twenties girl: A homeschool graduate and sister to six awesome siblings. If there is anything adventuresome about her life, it is because she serves a God with a destiny bigger than anything she could have imagined.
