A volume of short horror stories which all take place in Richmond, VA. Written by local authors. Quality is pretty variable; some stories are very well-written, some jump between past and present tense every paragraph or fizzle out with no resolution. The whole 'Richmond' angle is more wearying than anything else - on some stories it fits well, on most it feels shoehorned in. Overall, this one wasn't bad. Admittedly, I'm a bit biased considering my personal history with the great state of Virginia. Even so, I won't let Richmond's beauty cloud my judgement. I didn't like every story, but I did enjoy the majority and found most of them to be, if not scary, then at least original and interesting.
