So this book was one of the first romances I read when I first started getting into the genre. I was feeling nostalgic and decided to re-read it again. I have to say that I still thoroughly enjoyed the plot and all of the characters. To summarize, Preston and Monica are neighbors who have been giving each other "the eye" via their bedroom windows. lol As you can probably guess, the pair eventually begin to date amongst a series of challenges. This was a really good book. Even after you think you've read every plot and come across every type of character, a book like this comes along. Deborah Fletcher Mello added some unique elements that gave this book a boost. Preston was a romantic guy with an honorable secret; Monica was a intelligent, opinionated, sassy sista; Godfrey the smooth playa; there was a little bit of crazy thrown in; and Ms. Mariah stole the show at times....."Mind yo' business, boy!!!"

Very nice book. It was a nice twist on the way things are normally written. I'm loving this author's work.

Great book. Love and suspense all in one. Establishing a relationship is hard enough without a stalker involved.

For Deborah Fletcher Mello, writing is as necessary as breathing and she firmly believes that if she could not write she would cease to exist.
