A fast-paced global treasure hunt set against the backdrop of a band of brothers on a mythical quest, bonded by a newly-awakened, centuries-old mystical link.

Despite the unlikely premise, this is an entertaining read and probably a perfectly paced holiday thriller.

Enjoyable, despite some improbabilities in the story line.

There are secrets galore in this book. The many agencies that are working either together or against each other to try to find out about the treasure and how to help or not help Africa is incredible.Just keeping straight who is a good or bad guy is a full time job. These men whose spiritual side was awakened for this specific purpose get life changing adventures and they will never be the same again. They all have some sort of needed quality that was looked into for them to be chosen.Right up until the end we are held in suspense as to who is going to have the treasure,if it exists and can be found, and if it really did fall into the right hands.Lives are changed and lost in about equal amounts.A good mystery -one that was hard to put down and not think about the next development until the next time you could read again.

This is a really fast paced action story that has a unique and interesting plot. There are lots of twists and turns and I occasionally had some trouble keeping the good guys and the bad guys apart. The book is sparsely written and I think it might have been improved by adding more descriptive detail and color but, bottom line, this is a gripping story. The cliff-hanger ending left me frustrated and impatient for the next in this series.
I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway for this honest review.

I didn’t finish this book. It’s the worse book I’ve read all year and that’s saying something since this has been a pretty bad book year. It’s stupid. The story doesn’t make any sense at all. I hate when I can’t finish a book. There has not been very many books that I couldnt finish, even if I didn’t like the book. I power through. The few that I couldn’t finish ended up where this one is going. In the garbage. Yes throwing books away is an awful thing. If I’M throwing a book in the garbage. Please know it was pure trash. As this book is just pure trash. I wish I could give it -0 stars. Don’t waste your time. Instead of reading this book, get someone to pour cayenne peppers into your eyes. That experience will be more enjoyable trust me.
