128 pages of excellent text, filled with beautiful color photos. The Bronte sisters novels were inspired by the beauty of the Yorkshire countryside - this book brings out the immense variety of that countryside in photographs chosen to illustrate the atmosphere and moods of the area.

I loved it. It had photographs that went with descriptive texts from all the bronte's writing. I'm going to give 'Shirley' by Charlotte Bronte, a try now because of reading the gorgeous descriptive passages that were part of this book. It made me want to give 'Wuthering Heights' a try too. I tried once before and never really got into it. But I think I should try again. I love Jane Eyre and have read it multiple times.

This was quick read as it contained mainly quotes from four of the Brontes’ books and photographs of Haworth and surrounds. The book is quite dated being nearly thirty years old but I still very much enjoyed it being a huge fan of the three Bronte women. I need to read Shirley now that I have seen all the quotes in this book.
