What an extremely frustrating, head banging, infuriatingly drama-filled read this one was. And. I. Loved. It.

Christ, 400+ pages of wanting to grab either Blake and/or Alex by the shoulders and shake the living crap out of them until they finally began to actually TALK to one another.

Unlike a lot of books, it isn't even fate trying to keep them apart. It's their own lack of communication and quick tempers biting them in the ass here. So yeah, you will want to smack them more often than not, but

Whew! Okay, am I done reading? I can't tell, I'm still stuck in the book. Actually, my body is. My blood pressure is up, I feel feverish, my hands are shaking. Because of the smut? No, no smut, it was because I was white-knuckling through the angst. I had to cheer myself through this book. Just read another 10% and then you can have a soda! Now, I've read angstier books than this one, way more. It is just that I'm not a big fan of it and avoid angst at all co

It was Friday night lights and the score of the football game on the field was close. Blake Thompson of the Mustangs watched and waited to see if the new Patriots field goal kicker was as good as they had heard. Then out came a slim figure, even in his football pads, brown hair caught under the lights and AYERS36 on the back of his jersey. It wa

Fair Catch is about a love story that started in an easy way and developed in complexity, like it’s probably realistic to be.

Blake and Alex meet in high school, Alex is at his last year while instead Blake is an year younger. Both of them play football, but not for the same team, they are in different high school. They are also from a different family environment, Alex from a single parent family, his dad the only one to maintain 3 sons to college, while instead Blake is from a tight family, fat

I’ve rarely come across two people more perfect for each other than the heroes in this powerful debut novel. Though Blake Thompson and Alex Ayers play football for opposing high school teams, their instant attraction and mutual passion for the sport transcends any rivalry. And yet, the bond that connects them runs far deeper than their love for the game. From the moment their eyes meet on the field, they share a chemistry that is impossible to ignore, and which kept me entranced from start to fi ...more
