MoonRivet Saves His Skin has wonderful (and funny) rhyming text that captures the reader immediately.

The story is about MoonRivet, a frog made of recycled items who lives in Dusty Lake which just happens to be on the moon. MoonRivet and the other creatures of Dusty Lake live happy carefree lives, only having to beware of the birds on the Moon. This story reminds me of fairytale trickster tales - because it is MoonRivet's quick thinking that saves him in the end
