Unequal Relations: An Introduction to Race, Ethnic, and Aboriginal Dynamics in Canada
Unequal Relations is the only single-voiced text with comprehensive coverage of racism, multiculturalism, and diversity. Its critical approach, combined with a strong balance of research and application and attention to key current issues are why Unequal Relations continues to be the leading text in Canada, chosen by instructors of Race and Ethnicity courses across the country.

Another book from my university days. This book is an eye opener. Academically written, it wasn't as dry as I expected it to be. It did help that our professor was very animated and easily engaged us students in discussions and debates, all the while opening us up to the fallacies of Canadian society that many of us didn't realise existed. Well written, easy to read and supported with research and facts.

Informative but certainly not an easy read.
Certain areas were repetitive.. and contradictory (as expected, and is fine however the exam was multiple choice therefore these unclear areas were not helpful. would have been great for a longer answer/essay based course).
