A Day In The Life Of A Marine Biologist is a capturing book written by David Paige. This book focuses on the life of a Marine Biologist named Lynn Walter. The main idea of this book is that it talks about the most important information and facts about specificaly what does Lynn Walter do for her job as a Marine Biologist. So to start, Lynn is a women that first collects sea animals such as crayfish, shellfish, loggerhead turtles, normal turtles, sharks, prawns, fish, and worms. Afterwards, she goes to the oceanographic institute where Marine Biologists study and observes ocean creatures. Lynn takes care of the sea animals, researches for any injuries or sicknesses and looks if the animal is poisonous. To end up, I am going to express some facts I learned while reading this book. First thing I learned is, that large jellyfish paralyzes its prey with poisonous tentacles that may grow until 40 feet and even divers that swim by them might be paralyzed and die. A last thing I learned is, that a loggerhead’s sharp beak is capable to crack open hard shell clams and other shellfish. To conclude, this book made me more interested into becoming a Marine Biologist.
The content in my book relates to a career in science by talking about a Marine Biologist and by talking about studying things and observing them. Marine Biology falls under life science beause it talks about life in oceans and in other water environments. The specific information in the book that can help me with my science fair project is that for the experiment I should always where proper close and gloves. To end up these are the answers for the three questions out of the 5 from Ms.Heil’s list (1-2-3).
The reader highly recommends this book to all people that are interested to become a(n) Marine Biologist. I also recommend this book for people that love sea animals and would like to observe them. A last recommendation is for the people that like swimming into the ocean to capture sea creatures. To conclude, these are my recommendations and the reader wishes you are the one to read this book and propose your friends to also read it and enjoy it !
