This exciting historical novel is set in the silver-mining district of Northern Idaho. 14 year-old Mick doesn't want to be a miner like his father. He wants to go to school and be a writer. I enjoyed this book a lot. Especially, it was nice that the author came to our class and explained the magnificent and interesting history in this story. Good engaging read.
