I have recommended this email to many a young intern and associate. The current environment has resulted in making casual written form too casual for the work place. Recognizing that professional and personal email are two different things and structuring writing accordingly is a must.

If you or someone that reports to you is struggling in their written communication, I would recommend this. If you already have significant skills in this area, it's probably not going to give you much in the way of improvement.
