I have really enjoyed the essays in this scholarly volume concentrating on the life and teachings of Jesus as recorded in the New Testament. The writing is excellent and I learned so many things. I really appreciate the synthesis of many different commentaries and studies as well as historical manuscripts and various bible translations. The scholarship is excellent. This is the basis of my Easter study this year and I am anxious to begin Volume 3!
