Just when you're sure Wally has bungled through every misadventure imaginable, this nerdy kid stumbles, staggers, and k-splats his way smack dab into a brand new frontier - the human body. When he and Wall Street, his best friend (even if she is a girl), visit a local laboratory, they are accidentally miniaturized and swallowed by some unknown stranger. It is a race against the clock (let alone Wally's own klutzoidness) as they fly through various parts of the body - from the stomach to the blood system to the brain to the eye - in a desperate search for a way out while all the time learning how "fearfully and wonderfully we are made."

Bill Myers was born into a Christian home, and although as a child he became bored with Christianity, he decided at the University of Washington quote, to "make God my boss." Ironically, at the University his worst subject was writing. He claims to have prayed, and said that he would be able to do anything for God, except write. Even so, he has become a prominent Christian writer, and has a large amount of successful books and films to his credit.

I hate how negative two stars look but the book is the most O.K.est book I've ever read. It's not bad in the slightest.
The concept is decent, some of the twists are pretty good, and even gets pretty interesting. I did get intrigued with how they were going to escape. I like how this book was all about Biology and it's a good teaching tool for the bloodstream and about certain organs and places in the body.
Some of the jokes pass me BUT I did get that one reference about the McGee and Me series with the characters talking to their creator. (I love other book references.)
I did get lost in this book for a moment. At one second I thought we were at the lungs but then we were at the brain. (It's was probably me though.)

There's is a story within this story and ironically this book rates it at a corny level of fifteen out of ten. (Exact number I would have given it.) I did find it painfully lame so I did what anyone would probably do reading it out loud. I used my 1960 Batman narrator voice mostly.
I literally found the hero as cringe worthy as a Johnny Bravo cartoon. (Probably because the hero acts like a close twin to him.) At least the small story is small, and I do get why Mr. Myers adds them into his books. It's a spark of insanity, (More like a bolt but.) that is supposed to inspire others reading this book to write their own.
Like I said at the beginning it's an OK book
