She hated having to compete with men and their masculine energies. She loathed that though she had masculine energy within her, it was trapped inside her female body. She longed to be reincarnated as a man, that she might take full advantage of the masculine energy she already had and incorporate it into a male body. Obviously, there was no such possibility. Therefore, she resigned herself to the fact that men would always come up on tip when competing with her. So many of her lovers were eventually snatched away by male bodies. Not being in a male body also caused her to lose her precious relationship with her family — her family members, all living ‘normal’ lives in compliance the bodies they were born with.
Women aren’t allowed to be expressive with their bodies and are exploited as mere reproductive machines. Women’s bodies aren’t endowed the right to have pleasure or to be pleasured. Women have to be virgins. Women have to be submissive wives. Women have to be adept at pleasuring men in bed. Women are merely second-class citizens and subordinate to men, Can you imagine, a lot of women do not actually know how it feels like to have an orgasm? Isn’t that pathetic?!
But the future is meaningless without a remembrance of things past. All my wounds inform me of what choices to make for the future. They help me survive. Happiness, without pain, scares me.
