Describes class as a combination of manners and morality and explains an easy formula of four skills that are essential in order to attain this elusive quality
I honestly have no idea how this book ended up in our possession. Neither Joe nor I are very interested in becoming classy people. I guess it’s vaguely interesting as a kind of time capsule, like all those 1950s guides to better living books I read before. It’s also pretty confusing to think about this book coming out in the 80s. It feels like the advice is from a much earlier time—certainly well before I was born.
