I tried, but this book is not for me. Perhaps if it was written today it'd be a blog (maybe it is. I'm not going to look for it)

I read this book because I was browsing at the library, picked it up and got interested enough to keep going. I did not read every page or every word, I very thoroughly skimmed. This book is a compilation of the personal thoughts opinions and experiences of a mother and daughter. It's an inspirational book full of excerpts about or from famous and unknown women in history that support the author's advice.
