Chaque année, là où habite Martine, la foire s’installe sur la place du marché. Le manège tourne, les chevaux de bois montent et descendent, crinière au vent. C’est la fête, avec sa fanfare, ses ballons et son odeur de beignet. Sur les balançoires, Martine se sent aussi légère qu’un papillon. Elle ne rentrera qu’à regret, une fois la nuit venue, des rêves plein la tête.

Anita at the carousel tells of the day when all these attractions get to town. Anita and her brother and dog go spend the day among the different attractions, amusing themselves and buying treats... The landscape of the night market is amazing and reminds me of similar occasions during my youth.
