In this flip-book pair of chapbooks, LaFemina takes us through two sides of the circus. In the Clown Baby prose poems, LaFemina makes us face the world through the visage of, yes, a clown baby. In Figures, LaFemina muses upon the connections between the circus and our everyday absurdity. Full of well-timed humor and the sharp barb of good prose, LaFemina reminds us that humor comes from our deepest sense of self and through our connection to the world.
