To passersby, the small crowd shivering in the frigid February morning is nothing special. But to the many couples huddled together braving the icy wind, it is the most important day of their lives. I thought this would be a straightforward love story set in a futuristic world but it turned out to be much more than that. Full of twists and turns, I was pleasantly surprised most of the way. A good read.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Cherese A. Vines is a fantastic writer. All of her work is quite enjoyable to read. It's very descriptive, colorful, and she has a way of bringing so much life to her characters and to her story that I can actually visualize what I'm reading in her writing. I am a huge fan of Cherese's writing and Three Weeks in May is by far my favorite book of hers as of yet. It's just a truly engaging story of a woman's struggle over choosing her own happiness or saving humanity. I could not ...more

Truly enjoyed Gwen's and Elliot's story. This is not a typical love story. There are twists and turns and truly unexpected situations to be overcome by this couple. The author did an excellent job creating a futuristic earth and keeping this reader on the "edge of her seat." Near the end, which I won't spoil, I did get a bit confused about the timelines and the affect they were having on the present time. Aside from that "little" bump, I would encourage anyone to read this novel.
