Before reading this book, I watched the movies and read the two prequels, soI know a lot about the plot and what happened. After reading the two books, I noticed that there were things that were left out in the movies, or that there were changes in some areas. As I saw in the previous books there were things missing from the movie, like characters, and even sections were missing. But Tolkien did a great job writing these books and I enjoyed reading and watching this trilogy.
