Reproductive Effects of Chemical, Physical, and Biologic Agents: REPROTOX

Rate this book
The print version of a database of reproductive toxicology information, primarily for health care providers who are addressing patient concerns. Written in response to inquiries about exposures, the 2,880 summaries are numbered from 1001 (ascorbic acid) in the order the inquiries were received. An alphabetical index gives the summary number of each agent. Summaries are included for agents to which exposures can occur, including chemicals, physical agents (heat, radiations), and biologics. Where relevant information is available, summaries include information on developmental effects (e.g., embryonic development), reproductive effects (e.g., fertility), and lactation effects. Where possible, references are provided to papers available in the open literature. Annotation copyright Book News, Inc. Portland, Or.
