A little example of her style here - the sentences are not as complex as those in her fiction, though she remains a master of the comma.

There are some real marvels here, particularly in the early memories of childhood; later, the writer's snobbishness and nostalgia for the glory days of the English 1 per cent grow extremely tiresome.
