Savage Academy #2

These Two Wrongs

Rate this book
The universe must really hate me.

Rhys Astor, the guy with a deadly smirk and devil-may-care attitude, is the sole witness to one of the most embarrassing moments of my life. But even worse, now he’s suddenly intrigued by me, which is confusing because until now, he couldn’t be bothered to remember my name.

Dorothy, Donatella, Danielle…no, it’s Delilah, you unhinged prat.

I don’t want his attention. If I had my way, we’d go on avoiding each other for the rest of our lives, but again, the universe is conspiring against me. Rhys is the captain of the fencing team, and I’m the new manager. That means we’re stuck together everyday for practice, tournaments, and long, long bus rides to away matches.

Our shared bus rides lead to heated bickering.
That bickering leads to hate-kissing…and not-so-hate kissing.
And somehow, those few stolen kisses lead to sexy tutoring sessions, where Rhys is an extremely enthusiastic student.

He shows me with every single touch, kiss, and whispered word how much he appreciates my rounded curves. And in return, I show him what it means to truly be cared for.

But I have a feeling Rhys is hiding something. That his motives might not be what they seem.
I’ve never wanted to be wrong about anything more than I do about these nagging suspicions.
Because if I’m right, then there’s nothing but heartbreak waiting for me.

(These Two Wrongs is an enemies to lovers, standalone romance. There is no OW drama, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA!)

This book was sooo good. It made me laugh, swoon, cry, and be overwhelmed in a good way. The banter between the MCs is so comical, and I can't keep up with Rhys 😂 This guy had me fall for his character, and I loved almost everything about him (except the fact that he never defended himself against his abusive stepfather; this is why I can't give this a 5 ⭐)

Soooo, the seniors went on a three-day camping trip. Charles, the asshole, is interested in Delilah's twin, Evelyn, but he can't get close to her because these two always stick together. He needed Delilah to be distracted and away from Ev, hence why he convinced Rhys to do that task. He said he's going to pay for his efforts, and Rhys needs this money for something important, so he agreed to do it.

On this trip, Rhys and Delilah hooked up. But it was a terrible experience for her, and only Rhys got satisfaction out of this rendezvous. 😐 Back at their school, the task of distracting her is still intact. However, Delilah wants to forget everything that happened between her and Rhys on that trip, so she avoided him as much as she could. But he has a fragile ego and can't wrap his head around the fact that she wants nothing to do with him (because the girls he slept with always want more). He had enough of her ignoring him, so he hounded her to ask why. Delilah isn't fond of rehashing what went down between them, but Rhys is persistent to know her reason, and she told him that it was awful for her, that she didn't even finish, and that it was the worst smex she ever had.

Rhys can't believe how he got a 1 ⭐ review for his performance, so he asked her to give him another chance to get it right and please her 😂 He told her to tell him all the things that would make it pleasurable and satisfying for her, and that they should practice and have tutoring lessons. Of course, with all these hot lessons, eventually they fell for one another.

There's a third-act breakup; eventually, the task from Charles is revealed, ruining everything between Rhys and Delilah. But the grovelling is soooo freaking adorable! He really worked hard to earn her forgiveness and trust. I think the conflict happened around 65%, and she only forgives him around 86%. It was a long ass grovelling, but he kind of has to do it with the way things blow up. It was really swoony, and some parts of it made me even tear up. This guy really knows how to grovel, and he would do anything to get his princess back.

Anyway, I like the romance between the MCs, and I really, really love the two of them together. But as for the other parts of the story that made my blood boil, if I could get inside a book, I would probably be put in jail for the unlawful things I want to do with some characters.

They both have awful parents, but Rhys' mom is the worst, imo. She's an enabler, and I can't help but wonder how a mother can just stand aside and do nothing while her child is being abused by someone else. She let the abuse of her new husband happen for years, and she never stepped up to protect Rhys and his sister. She's a pathetic, moronic, weak woman; she shouldn't have become a mother in the first place. As for the stepfather, I really want to throat punch this dickhead. He's such a waste of space, even in a fictional world. I really hoped Rhys would've punched him at least once, but it never happened. He's a way better person than I am for taking the high road.

On Delilah's side, her idiotic brother is also maddening. He let his best friend, who is 5 years older than Delilah, sleep with her when she was just 15 years old. This is a freaking crime that lasted for two years! She was too young and too trusting to let someone take advantage of her. Who in the right mind would sleep with an underage teenager? And the douchebag cheating ex made an appearance, trying to win over Delilah again. Thank God she's not stupid and that Rhys is there.

Overall, I loved the whole story and everything about it. I appreciate even the awful characters that angered me, because I think they made the story line interesting. Every element in this book makes perfect sense, and I'm here for all of it.

Anywaaaaay, this book is worth reading and recommending, imo. I hope other readers will come to love this too. ❤️

I loved this series's first book and Julia Wolf’s writing. It was good to be back in the ‘Savage Academy’ world. I was excited to read Rhys and Delilah’s story. There were things I liked, and it had enjoyable parts, but some things were also a bit predictable.

Utterly delightful. Angst and all. Two broken people making right. 🩷

I rarely read New Adult these days, because I feel like the characters either act too young... or too old. haha! So it can be hard to win me over. However, J. Wolf is only of the only authors who continues to draw me back to this sub-genre and keep me riveted.

Rhys and Delilah don't get off on the best foot and I loved their less than satisfying intimate interaction. That so rarely happens in romance because of course, as least the hero needs to be a god in the sack. Not so with this tale! And instead of taking it on the chin and parting ways... Rhys pursues answers and... guidance from Delilah. In a reverse "teach me" scenario. He finds her endlessly fascinating and makes it his business to pay as much attention to her as he can. I was LIVING for it all. These two may get thrown together by default, due to being friends of couples but their connection becomes completely their own.

"You know that saying 'two wrongs don't make a right?' I don't believe that anymore because your wrong, and my wrong, very f*ck*ng certainly made a right."

Also, out of context spoiler that made me fall for Rhys in one scene: BREAD BASKET.
You'll know when you know.

I also really loved Delilah's relationship with her twin sister. I loved how she sacrificed to make her more comfortable and even made decisions that were hard to ease her way. It really was them against the world in so many ways.

The situation with Rhys' family and what it pushes him to do was very compelling. I didn't know HOW I could accept some of the choices he was making but.. when the full scope comes into view... what else could he have done? Even though it hurts Delilah.. what else could he do? And it does lead to an EPIC grovel. Something Julia Wolf does very well.

"I can't go back to who I was before you, princess. I need to be with you, and I will do anything to get you to the place where you feel the same again. Tell me how to do that. Give me a clue."

Overall, I liked this even more than Save One Thing, and I love all the time I spend in the Savage World. I look forward to the next in the series. It can't come soon enough.

This was a really great read - completely unlike so many other HS romances that I've read👏🏽 Rhys and Delilah were an amazing couple and I thoroughly enjoyed reading their story. Delilah was a girl who had a spine and was a strong character while Rhys had me hooked from the get go☺️ The banter, the angst, the grovelling...everything was really good. Though, I personally would have loved to see a bit more suffering from Rhys' side since I love seeing fictional men DESPERATE to earn their woman' forgiveness lolololol. Also, the stepfather and Rhys' mother made me VIOLENT. I wish they'd died a brutal death and suffered FUCK THEM TO HELL AND BACK🤬 Nevertheless, this was a very enjoyable read! I really do love Julia Wolf's writing and look forward to reading more of her work🥰

safety squad:
- no OW/OM drama (h has a crush on OM but gets over it pretty quickly, h's ex tries to win her back but H puts him in his place)
- no virgins (H isn't a hoe but he's been with others, same for the h and she's been in love before)
- "teach me what you like" (the H's ego is bruised when the h tells him that sex with him was bad and that doesn't know how to please a woman...so he asks for lessons😏 h is also happens to be the first woman he's gone down on)
- no cheating/no sharing
- betrayal
- grovelling (went on for a good 20%)
- mentions of parental neglect, domestic violence, death of a parent, grooming, sexual relationship with a minor (not the MCs), mentions of drug use/abuse, etc so don't forget to check the TWs!
- HEA (with marriage and babies)

I love this series 🥹 Rhys literally had me cracking up, I really loved him. Thanks to the movie 10 things I hate about you, the trope in this is one of my FAVORITES! This was so good and I can’t wait for the next one! Also I have to say after reading the first book in this series, I was scared that we were going to be getting Charles’ book as a reformed manwhore trope, and after reading this book I’m so glad to realize that isn’t going to be happening. He was so nasty, even before I knew all the things he did in this book, so thank you to the author for not being a cliche and giving us his book 🙏

Just reread all my highlights, which I never do but I loved everything about this book, and ugh this book was just so good!

Recent Julia Wolf books are so reminiscent of what Sara Ney books used to be! Back when she was writing the douchebag series

FINALLY! A book to get me out of my slump. I’d been in there for months just waiting for a book that I loved so much and didn’t want to end and that’s what this book was.

Rhys, Rhys, Rhys. I highly underestimated you!!

He was not the manwhore the first book made him out to be and I couldn’t be happier for that. It’s been a minute since I’ve read the first book but Rhys is definitely up there with Beckett for me. I loved him so much!!! He was sooo hilarious. So freaking witty and sarcastic. I got excited when it was his POV because you never knew what was going to come out of his mouth. I even loved that he was not a sex god like so many men are portrayed in books. I actually really liked that he sucked in bed and Delilah had to teach him because let’s be real, high school guys weren’t all that great in the sack (at least in my day). So this was very realistic and I loved that.

Delilah was such a great heroine. I don’t find myself calling the female MCs heroines much unless I really liked them and I absolutely loved Delilah. Honestly all of the girls in their group were great. Rhys wasn’t the only funny one. Delilah was very witty herself and I loved watching her take him down a peg. She was such a great sister as well.

Not gonna lie I didn’t even need Rhys to grovel. I know he messed up, we knew it from the jump what was going on but he just loved Delilah so much by the time it came around that I would have excepted her forgiving him easily. But with that said he groveled so beautifully!!

Evelyn is another favorite and I’m waiting not so patiently for her and Ivan’s book.

Sooo freaking glad Charles got what was coming to him!!

Also I loved that the epilogue didn’t include a sex scene like many authors like to do. We got to see the beautiful life they created. I’m so sad this book is over!!!

NO CHEATING
NO OW DRAMA
LIGHT OM DRAMA (Delilah’s asshole ex thinks he can just come back but Rhys was not having it)
NO VIRGINS
PLUS SIZE FMC
DOMESTIC ABUSE TOWARDS MMC

❤️Another fantastic book by J. Wolf. After meeting Rhys in Save One Thing, I didn’t it was possible to love him as much as Beckett but boy was I wrong. Rhys is completely swoon worthy, and endearing. I loved the chemistry between Delilah and Rhys, and the banter between them was great! I loved everything about this book and I can’t wait to read the next one!❤️

Julia's ability to make me swoon is like no other.
I think this has to be by far my favourite. I absolutely love Dililah and Rhys. Their journey wasn't smooth, it ripped my heart out, then slowly put it back together, piece by piece.
The vulnerability from both of them was heartbreaking, but watching their story unfold was beautiful and heartwarming. It held my attention from cover to cover, I couldn't put it down.

This is a high school romance which I typically don’t read but I love this author and will read anything she writes.

It was really cute. I loved Delilah’s relationship ship with her sister. She also had great banter with the love interest Rhys. I think they were so well matched to each other and really balanced out. It had a few silly moments but I think that’s to be expected when you’re reading about eighteen year olds. It did have some predictable moments and seemed to drag in a few places that just brought it down a bit for me. But the grovelling I’m this book was so good. It always so satisfying when a book does grovelling well. Overall, a fun read, not my favourite from this author but I’m still glad I picked it up.

There are just no words to describe this book. My heart hurt so much throughout this book, I laughed a lot, I had tears, I was angry, and by the end I was smiling. Rhys stole my heart from the start, I loved his humor, but I hurt for him too. He was like this little boy who wore a mask to hide his pain. He comes across as unfeeling and like he just doesn’t care about anything, but he had a heart so big. He really messed up with Delilah, he had no ill intentions and never intended to hurt her, but he did. When I was reading Delilah as she was speaking to Rhys and telling him how betrayed and broken she felt, and listening to her as she was telling him how disgusting she thought she was, it felt like my heart was ripped open. I had tears in my eyes. And then seeing Rhys beaten by his stepfather and his mother did absolutely nothing, my heart broke for him and I hated how he was treated. I loved Delilah and how protective she was of her sister, and I especially enjoyed it when she didn’t hold back her feelings towards Rhys mother and stepfather.
Every time I read Julia’s books I think I’ve found my new favorite couple! And this time is no different. But I truly am walking away with a different feeling this time because what this couple went through together, and throughout their lives is heartbreaking and sad and I couldn’t have been more happier to see a couple get their HEA then this couple. This was a phenomenal book, one I devoured in one sitting!

I thought I loved Beckett and Luciana the most. But I should know better by now. Every time I love the first couple in a Julia series, I find that each one we spend time with after them ups my expectations in the best ways. Rhys and Delilah are no exception to that rule, either.

He’s arrogant and unfeeling and clearly doesn’t care what others think. Right? And she’s confident and cool under pressure and knows her worth. Doesn’t she? So when everything I thought I knew to be true about both Rhys and Delilah gets shattered, I knew I was in for a ride. Boy, did I get one. These two may not want to want each other…or one may not want to want the other, but they are perfect together.

The fact that this tale of distraction is also turned on its ear by the truth of one’s singleminded pursuit of pleasure makes it something I was unable to put down. And I’m not lying. This is a one-sitting read, folks. You’ll be angry, then you’ll laugh and likely relive some of your early experiences. You’ll feel such vindication and then fall in love. And then the other shoe drops. But all is not lost because these guys know what to do. They know to ask those who’ve been in their shoes, how to listen to that advice, and how to grovel like no other. Yeah, they’re young. But that doesn’t always equal dumb, and the friend groups in this series are full of those wise beyond their years.

So now? Now I wait for the next couple. Because I’m hooked and I know I’ll be loving the next duo even more.

Rhys is a self centered guy, probably because he’s good looking, smart, fun to be with. Delilah is also good looking, even if Charles calls her the ugly twin. She’s had a crush on someone but she totally misread his signals and he friends zoned her. Rhys overheard the exchange and was sort of sympathetic. These two weren’t exactly enemies but there was definitely nothing romantic. As these two learn more about each other the attraction is clear. Rhys isn’t a total jerk, his family are awful to him and Delilah’s family isn’t much better. There are many twist and turns and together they become so much more, but Rhys has a secret that almost destroys their new found love. Love love love this book. The ending is beautiful, so touching and sweet. I’m giving this book five stars and highly recommend it.

Wow, just wow.

I love this story with all my heart. The way it progresses and tugs on my heartstrings are just unbelievable perfect.

I sometimes forget that they are so young because they have been through so much and love so fiercely it’s like they are much older than they are. I absolutely totally forgot that they are fictional characters and that is the glory of this author. It is wonderful to finally get Rhys story and see him become a part of the world not just standing in the shadows being an arrogant and rude person. Delilah is fiercely protective of her sister and she is very independent and the way she and Rhys fits together is everything.

I can’t spoil anything but you need this in your life.

It's always apples and oranges with this author for me 😂😂😂 2 out of 3 isn't bad but I'm tapping out on this one. Rhys has been a careless manwhore in book 1 but because both guys of book 1 and 3 were so awesome I convinced myself the manwhoring was a façade......ummm not so much. To make matters worse he and the h hook up and it was terrible 😔 terrible sex is for real life not my romance books. Thennnn he knows Charles is a scum bucket and still accepted cash to keep Delilah away so Charles could try with Evelyn? Yeah Rhys isn't shaping up to be my type of hero unfortunately

3.5 stars - this was enjoyable, I just rate books 4 stars or more if I really love them, and will think about the characters again. It wasn't quite that level. But, it was fun.

This is basically the plot of "10 things I Hate About You," so if you like that movie, you'll probably like it. The hero and heroine are both 18, and at a boarding school. A douchey guy pays the hero to hang out with the heroine, because the douchey guy wants her sister. Obviously, the heroine finds out at a bad time, in a bad way. The "reveal" scene was angsty, but this book was mostly full of banter, there's some angst and grovel, but "deep angst" isn't the overall feeling of the entire story.

I liked that this book is a little different, in the sense that they don't like each other at the beginning. It's not "enemies to lovers." They're just acquaintances who are indifferent to each other. They randomly hook up 1 night mostly out of boredom, and the sex is bad for the heroine. The hero thinks it was fine. The next day in school, he thinks she'll throw herself at him, and he's like "I'll let her down easy, since we have mutual friends." Instead, she ignores him, because the sex was so bad, she wants to put it behind her. And he's so confused, like, "What?!" Honestly, that was very funny. And their banter and dialogue were good.

But, setting up their relationship this way did make it take a while to feel their chemistry, since the hero is just this random guy she has bad sex with. So, the build-up is a little slow. But their relationship was fun and refreshing (they get together after the hero makes her tell him why the sex was bad for her, he's like, "she annihilated me with her 1-star review of my performance" and he demands a re-do).

Some plot threads did feel like they didn't get tied up - they both had shitty parents, and she has a mean brother too. It ends with both of them still on bad terms with their families, and sure, that's life, sometimes! It's realistic. But in a novel, it feels like at least 1 of them should have resolved at least some of those relationships, a tiny bit. Among their terrible family members, her brother and his mom are in this book the most. So it set the book up to revisit those plotlines, and then her brother and his mom both just vanish from the story anticlimactically.

I skipped the first book, so I was mildly confused by some of the side characters, but I wasn't lost, it was fine enough to read as a stand-alone.

Rhys grew on me. the first half of the book i didn’t like him and then all of a sudden he was dorky and head over heels for delilah and wanting to please her and my brain went OKAY RHYS 🤭🤭🤭🤭. i still like beckett more from the first book more than him but i will say he redeemed himself in the second half of the book. it was cute and i wish we delved more into the topics of Delilah’s self-esteem issues and Rhys family issues, but it was not a bad read! I like it! Plus the friend group made me laugh out loud at times. ONTO EVELYN AND IVAN MY LOVES IM GONNNNNNA LOVE YALL !!!

I really enjoyed this one. I was expecting some angst and heartbreaking moments because this author does not shy away from writing the tough scenes ( which I love), but I was pleasantly surprised by the humor sprinkled throughout it.

I loved Deliah. She took no shit and was confident in her own skin. She knew who she was and what she wanted, and I loved that. Pair her with Rhys, and you have some super entertaining banter the whole book.

Rhys now Rhys took me by surprise. I was expecting to hate him based on the blurb, but surprisingly, I did not. I really enjoyed his antics, especially when it came to all the D names😅 He made a really crappy decision, but it wasn't done with malice or because he is selfish. I know readers will want to know if he is redeemable, and IMO, he is.

All in all, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved going back to Savage Academy for Rhys and Deliah! They managed to both break my heart but also put it back together again with their angst and love. They both come from complicated upbringings. Can they conquer their pasts and create a future? Rhys and Delilah and their found family made me laugh and cry, and I hope we see more of them to come.

Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Trope: forced proximity
Angst: 😱😱😱1/2
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥

Was so super excited to head back to Savage Academy and Jula Wolf did NOT let me down! This book was seriously so different from any other book I've read. I have never had a book start out with the heroine and the hero having hookup smex and it was THE WORST SHE'S EVER HAD, lol. Ha! I mean, I guess it can only go up from there... but why try? Well, Julia Wolf has a story for that and it's going to have you glued from beginning to end. Just so many fab things! The storyline is super original. The characters were really just as unique as the storyline. Rhys is definitely one of those characters that grows on you, but you'll be completely in love by the end. I laughed, I cried and now I'm waiting with bated breath for what's to come!

This was such a funny, sweet, and emotional book! I ended up enjoying this even more than I thought I would since Rhys kind of came off as a jerk in the first book. He may come off as an unlikeable character at the beginning of the book, but there is a lot more to his character. Julia Wolf does such an amazing job with writing characters with more layers. She is somehow able to make each book better than the last with her series.

Rhys and Delilah have an unconventional and awkward start, but it was very funny and relatable. They have a quickie together during a school trip, which does not go well for Delilah. Rhys was pretty selfish, and it was an extremely unsatisfying experience for her. She basically ignores him and acts like nothing happened after this failed sexual encounter, and Rhys demands to know why. It was hilarious when Delilah gave it to him straight and explained how bad it was. This was funny and relatable because most high school guys are not the best sexual partners like they are written in most romance novels. Instead of him getting defensive and arguing about his skills, Rhys wants lessons so he can become a better lover. This made him much more likable, and we started to see more of the real Rhys.

Rhys has been hiding who he really is by coming off as rude and uncaring. However, Rhys has the biggest heart and is going through so much with his family. I loved how he dived into his sex lessons and how hard he fell for Delilah.

Side note: I absolutely loved the scene where Beckett explains how to go down on a girl to Rhys.  It was hilarious and reminded me why I loved him in the first book.

Delilah was such a strong, selfless, and beautiful character. She had such an amazing relationship with her twin sister, who is on the spectrum. She made sacrifices and changes in her life in order to protect her sister. They were such a solid unit and provided support and love for one another.

Rhys makes a big mistake before he starts falling for Delilah, which ends up being extremely hurtful to Delilah, and he has to grovel.

The groveling in this book was amazing and one of my favorite grovels I have read in a romance. Rhys was such a tender, sweet boy, and he had me swooning in this book. Let me just say his daily emails reading his favorite fantasy novel to her……so sweet.

This was another amazing Julia Wolf book, and I just love the Savage world she has created. I can’t wait to read the next book.

“You know that saying ‘two wrongs don’t make a right’? I don’t believe that anymore because your wrong, and my wrong, very f**king certainly made a right.”

I can't describe how much I love Rhys and Delilah! Somehow, Julia Wolf makes me fall more and more in love with each couple she writes.

In These Two Wrongs, we're back at Savage Academy. It always feels like coming home when we return to the Savage world, so I was delighted to revisit for the second instalment in this series.

I was really intrigued by Rhys in Save One Thing. At first glance, he came off as rude and arrogant and had an acerbic wit (which I actually love!). But then I discovered he was also a secret LOTR fan, who used to cosplay, so I knew there was more to him than there appeared.

And so, we learn more about him here. I'll admit, he did something really stupid and hurtful to Delilah along the way - and I knew the second he agreed that there'd be consequences - deservedly - but the boy did have noble reasons so I can forgive him.

And Delilah. Oh, she's wonderful. Beautiful, smart, confident. So loyal and loving to her twin. Everyone should have a Delilah in their life. Rhys is certainly lucky to have her. Unfortunately, his actions really hurt our girl, and I hated seeing her lose her self-esteem. It was so heartbreaking.

Thankfully, she has amazing friends, and Rhys went above to make amends.

These two are so perfect together. They definitely complement each other and totally have each other's backs. They certainly have amazing chemistry, and I loved how Rhys worshipped Delilah's body. Although she's a goddess, so how could he not?!

I was so proud of Delilah for how she defended Rhys to his utterly awful mother. Ugh, I was so angry at that woman! I can't even fully express it. My heart really hurt for Rhys when I learnt everything he'd been through.

These characters may be young, but the love and relationship development is totally believable. They share a beautiful love with each other. And when you have a guy who says things like: "I’d rewrite the stars for you too, princess.” How can you not completely fall in love with him? He's just totally swoon-worthy 😍

Many thanks to Julia Wolf for the chance to Arc read this fabulous book. These Two Wrongs releases on October 5th. Don't miss it!

We’re going back to Savage Academy with the second book in the series, These Two Wrongs. In the first book we met Luciana and Beckett along with their friend groups. This book follows Luciana’s friend Delilah and Beckett’s friend Rhys Astor. The two don’t really know each other much at first and then end up having an unfortunate sexual encounter. Rhys demands lessons from Delilah and their relationship grows from there. Sexy lessons is one of my favorite tropes!! It’s always so fun! I didn’t like Rhys at all on the first SA book, he’s very uptight and posh. In his own story we learn more about his life and Julia has a way of making you fall for a character you never would’ve expected to! Delilah is bigger than the other girls in the group and has some issues surrounding that, but we see Rhys loving all her softness and it definitely makes you swoon! Every part of this book was wonderful- no surprise here, everything Julia Wolf writes is incredible! I laughed and cried many times. Rhys was ridiculous and amazing 🥹 I loved Delilah so much and I loved her relationship with her twin sister too! Our two main characters are so alike in their loneliness and I loved seeing them come together and be what the other needed 😭🥹😍

This book had me feeling all sorts of ways. I didn't realise this was part of a series so I wasn't familiar with all the character relationships but I loved watching what developed in this book.

The typical story of a girl who's not 'traditionally attractive' being approached by the school hot shot thing he can have anyone when infact she has zero interest in him. When they have one night together which she'd rather forget he makes it his mission to show her how good he can really be, but when a simple task starts looping with feelings what happens when things aren't so black and white?

I loved the relationship between Delilah and Rhys though I 100% wasn't impressed with the reason why he took an initial interest even though there wasn't malicious intent. But as they spent more time together their relationship grew from a very odd situationship to kind of friends with benefits to holy shit I love you.

Honestly, Rhys being a nerd was a big green flag, reminded me of the boy in my life, the big recreational scene to try win back Delilah's affections that he roped all the boys into was adorable.

Julia Wolf does it again- creates two amazing characters with such depth and relatable flaws, you can’t help but love them and root for them. We meet Delilah and Rhys first in Save One Thing and while i thought Delilah was likable, i had a hard time believing that i could like or get behind a character like Rhys. Boy was i wrong- in this enemies to friends to lovers story, Julia makes Rhys one of the most multifaceted characters in the Savage world. He and Delilah are absolute gold together. I laughed, i cried, i read it more than once… highly recommend.
