If you are looking for a recipe book in order to help you “eat yourself young” then you might well be disappointed with this book. It does contain some recipes but it is more of a guide to detoxing your body.

On the scientific front, this book isn’t based in too much scientific fact, with some of the sweeping statements made in the book that are based on scientific fact but stretch the truth of the evidence such as in the case of the effect of oxidative stress on DNA. Also claims about sugar and

Very insightful and interesting way of looking at the food you put on your plate. But its the age old story - these things are good for your body and these things aren't; these things make your body work really hard to process them and these don't. It ain't rocket science but it is difficult to do in ...more

It's an easy to follow book that does not come across so much as a diet plan, but rather gives you the best, but at the same time simple ways to make your diet healthier.

I found this simple guide to healthy eating reasonably interesting but I don’t feel that I learnt anything new.

Vizuāli patīkama un iespaidīga, informācija arī interesanta, bet trūka dziļāka zinātniskā ieskata. Noteikti veikalā aizdomāsies, KO tu pērc, un vai tev to vajag?
