This was a very insightful glimpse into the inner workings of the industry. As expected, it didn't muck about with tips on how to be a good writer, but instead focused on what you need to be outside of that in order to be successful. It is essentially a guidebook to the part that doesn't come naturally to creative types. In particular, I found the section on budgeting and royalties enlightening...not to mention the section on "how to find work," which is a question on every aspiring composer's
